Ok firstly, as most as you would have known, my name’s Nur Fadhilah and I use the online moniker of “Faddy”. I used to call myself “Puteri Ferring” (HAHAHA laugh la, laugh!) during the MIRC days, but my exboyfriend (whom I met online) started calling me Faddy when we chat, and the name just stuck with me throughout the years.

I first started a blog when I was probably 14 years old, so that makes it around 5 years of non-stop blogging! Anyway if you’re interested (or bored, whichever), my first few blogs were deleted, but the ones which are on a comatose state are Messages From Beyond as well as Chapterxtwo. As you might have noticed, the way I blog has evolved throughout the 5 years, and for now, I think I’ve found my ’style’.

Anyway, I am currently 19 years of age but I still feel as though I am 9. Many say I don’t look and act like my age, and I couldn’t agree more. In a nutshell, I’m not one who puts on make up (at least not yet heh), I prefer slippers to heels, and I would rather spend 5 hours sitting at a cafe with friends, chatting, then walk around Orchard Road shopping. Yes, I’m not your girly kind of girl.

Currently I am in a neither here nor there position with regards to life. Sounds depressing ey? Haha. Thing is, I completed my A Levels in 2006. The results were good enough to allow for ‘graduation’ from JC, but not good enough for entrance into any of our local universities. Therefore, I am currently retaking my A Levels as a private candidate again, this year. One word - suicide :P

I am the eldest sibling in a family of 5 (inclusive the parents) and Alhamdulillah, I am surrounded by a group of friends who have stuck with me through thick and thin. People like Kimmy, Claire, Ashrithaa, Peah, Nassy and Fitree, just to name a few. Not forgetting, my best cousin, Anz as well as my dearest boyfriend, Haikal.

I’ve also made many friends online through this blog, and is pretty much open in familiarising myself with new online characters. However, I am a tad more careful in turning such persons into ‘real life’ friends/contacts. Heh, you can never be too careful with whom you ‘associate’ yourself with, I guess.

My purpose in blogging is to keep a record of my life, for archiving purposes. I’m not one with a good memory, I have to admit, and these daily entries assist in reminding myself of certain events, good or bad. Also, this website is an avenue for me to gain feedback on my photography skills (if any, haha) and as a sideline pocket money earner. I am hoping to change that to my main money earner, so haha we’ll see where that goes :)
