My cousin Anz has been bugging me every single second of the day to get my passport extended as we are heading to Bangkok this coming April. Due to the fact that I am SO damn busy with a million and one things to do (like having fun) and cannot seem to make time to go to the ICA building, I thought I would extend my passport online via APPLES.
So yup there I was all excited, reading through the terms and conditions etc, feeling happy that everything seems so easy and efficient. So apparently, we need to submit our latest Passport photos and have to follow a set of guidelines pertaining to the quality of the photos submitted.

Seems easy enough, right? NOT. Apparently, we have to look straight at the camera at the right angle etc and after spending 15 minutes sifting through most of the latest photos of myself, I realize my face is ALWAYS tilted at a certain degree or screwed up into some Godforsaken shape *slaps forehead*!
For example,

So while I was THIS close to giving up, a small nagging feeling told me that I should just persevere because I am sure out of my 100001 pictures, there will be one with me looking straight at the camera.
And damn right I found it, after 30 minutes of painstakingly looking at pictures after pictures, opening a million and one files and folders. With a huge breath of relief as I clicked “Submit”, I smiled as now all I have left to do is to to wait around a week before I can collect my spanking new Biometric Passport, assuming there are no problems with the picture submitted…

…With a picture like the above, so straight and directly facing the camera, I am SURE nothing will go wrong *smiles smugly*
