P Ramlee Night.

Right after the P Ramlee Musical, the boyfie picked me up and after a quick lunch cum dinner at Food Loft (damn it, they changed the recipe for my favourite noodles!), we lugged our mats to the Padang, settled right smack in the center of the soccer field and watched P Ramlee Movies! Hahaha Yeah, I think we kind of ran out of ideas on what to do :P

It was quite the enjoyable night, as the weather was just right and the night sky was adorned with pretty stars, a smiling Mr Moon and of course, my baby who kept reciting all the scripts which he had memorized by heart. Abit irritating actually, but nevertheless to see him smiling and laughing before the funny parts happen - that was quite cute wakakaka. (Don’t mind me.)

Pop the Sparkling Juice!

Fuh two years on my own domain! Didn’t think I’d last this long… Kekeke! So, in total, *checks old blogs* an approximate five years of blogging! Darn, I feel so ancient hahaha!

P Ramlee Musical.

When I first heard that P Ramlee the Musical was coming to Singapore, without much of a doubt I agreed to watch it with my colleague Siti even though the tickets were rather hefty at $83. This was because I thought that this musical was the exact remake of the original one based in KL, since they had the same directors and producers.

Sad to say, it was only AFTER we bought the tickets that the list of casts came out into the open. Axed were the reasons I wanted to go in the first place, Siti Nurhaliza and Sean Ghazi BOOHOOHOO. But as they say, the rice has turned into porridge so might as well just attend and enjoy myself :)

5-year Plan : Small Steps Forward.

These past few weeks, I can say that I feel more stable in the sense that I have decided on a rough outline on my financial plans for the next few years. Although this may change according to situations beyond my control, right now what matters is that I feel I have a goal to achieve, and this actually does motivate me to work harder.

First and foremost, I have already opened up a separate savings account with Auto-Deduction every time my pay comes in. Since it does not come with an ATM withdrawal facility, I don’t have to worry too much about tapping into my savings. Also, as I am saving up at least 1/3 of my pay, InsyaAllah I should be able to save approximately $5,000 in 8 months, which I think is not so bad seeing how much I earn anyway (haha).

Mommies’ Day Celebrations 08.

Without much of a consultation, the Mom ordered two tickets to a High Tea event at Chevrons on Mothers’ Day and billed the amount to me. Since I could afford it, I declared that her Mothers’ Day gift and set aside the day to accompany her to it. Along with us were my aunt, Bibik, my bestycouzy Ica and another aunt, Kak Ijah.

We entered the ballroom and were rather disappointed to see that we were seated at table 49, the 2nd last row in the hall. It was quite the distance from the stage, but thank God for live big screens situated next to our table :) Almost everyone were dressed to the nines and some families even came decked in Boriah Hari Raya attire!

The Night After.

Hahaha, so sorry Peah Totot :) We’ll chip in for the mechanic fees. Pass us the bill, alright!

Gallivanting with the Totots.

The Totots are a group of girls that may very well play a part in shaping me into who I am today, for we group up together back in secondary school. These are the girls who first hated me in secondary one for my kerek look, but later as they know how good I am inside (HAHA), we’ve been through much together, both thick and thin.

Straight out of school we rarely meet as a collective whole but now that everyone’s more settled in their lives, we make it a point to meet more often. And since my darling Peah’s got a ride, we settled on the place I’ve been wanting to go for eons:-

Save with Oggi.sg!

I think that the words ‘Sale’ and ‘Discounted’ strike a chord with most Singaporeans, as living in a country which could very well be Shoppers’ Paradise meant that we are constantly exposed to hundreds upon hundreds of shops screaming said words to catch our attention. Being seasoned shoppers, most of us are accustomed and fine tuned to select outlets offering bargains, although we usually end up spending more haha.

With the general rise in costs due to the wee bit of inflation that we are facing currently, I guess it’s safe to say that any kind of discounts and promotions would be handy to keep our spending in check. Oggi.sg, a brand new website created by Singaporeans for Singaporeans, makes it easier for you and I too keep tabs on the little ways we can achieve financial optimization and spending satisfaction.
