Daddy’s Bday Celebration.

Since Daddy kept saying that he wants nothing for his birthday, I decided to just treat my family and BestyCouzy Ica’s family for supper to celebrate the occasion. The initial plan was to head out to East Coast Park for the usual seafood fare but Bibik suggested KTM and thus, off we go!

When we arrived, the place was already full to the brim and it took us probably fifteen minutes of walking aimlessly about that we finally got seats. That too, after Bibik enquired a family if they were done eating hahaha. And upon ordering the food, we were informed that waiting time was 50 minutes! Piang! Haha..

However, Ica insisted that the food was good and since we DID travel all the way here, might as well a wee bit longer. Furthermore, it did help that the guy manning the cashier was cute HAHA.

Whilst waiting for the food, we sat around talking and laughing about family issues. Between Ica’s family and mine, I think we have nothing to hide. My mom and Bibik are the closest siblings ever, and even though Ica and I don’t meet as much as before, I still think that she’s my closest couzy ever. The brothers too are close to each other.

Thus, without any boundaries in the text for the night, we ended up roaring over in laughter with regards to this and that kekeke… (Sorry lah, this one sensitive material ahaks!)

As if to really make it obvious that it was Daddy’s birthday, all the dishes arrived mere minutes before twelve. Thus, as soon as midnight struck, we had a round of prayers and everyone tucked in. For a mere $75, we had rice enough for 10, and many dishes such as BBQ Stingray, Kangkong Belachan, Oatmeal Prawn, Hotplate Beancurd, Seafood Tom Yam and Sweet and Sour Chicken, all in plus size, mind you! Personally, I find the dishes delicious and definitely worth it.

But perhaps, the cheap prices are at the cost of cleanliness :P Once, while we were eating, we saw a rat running around on the plates left on the floor which have not yet been cleared kekeke… A tad bit turnoff, but at such a place, I think one shouldn’t think too much and just eat hahaha!

Overall I had a fantabulous time with the people close to heart. We reached home at 1am, spent another hour chatting with Mom and siblings in the living room before heading to bed to chat with the boyfie :) Happy birthday Ayah!
