I’ve always been a one watch woman, in the sense that I will only own one watch at any given point of time, and will wear it day in and day out until it dies on me. And I really mean day in and day out, as I would be wearing the same watch for ALL occasions - beach? prom? work? Anything goes.

So recently, my bling-bling Puma watch dad got me died on me, by having the whole strap split on its sides. Also, a few of the bling-blings had dropped out in the rough tumble of its owner, so I had to finally get down to getting a new watch.

Crestfallen upon finding out that the watch I was eyeing on costs a whopping $380, I reluctantly surveyed the market and fell in love with the following:-

It was around half the price of the initial watch, black and most importantly, had the minimalist look I was looking for. At first I thought that it doesn’t really suit casual wear which I am decked in usually, but on second thoughts, do I care? HAHA.

I’m still getting used to this watch though, and I really, really miss my Puma watch… Bluek. Loyalty has its cons too you know :P
