Visiting Qian Hu Fish Farm.

After reading blog upon blog writing about the Qian Hu Fish Farm, I finally managed to get my family there on Vesak Day. Initially, my dad wanted to visit the Singapore Expo as a family but seriously, where’s the fun in seeing the same Indonesian wares again and again? Haha…

#1 If your lover betrayed you, what will your reaction be?
Speaking from experience, in order : Get depressed, lose 5 kilos, try to win him back, give up, get angry, find peace after a year, and become close friends again :)

#2 If you can have a dream to come true, what would it be?
To travel + take pictures + blog for a living. Anyone wants to make this a reality?

Change.

Time changes everything. History, landscape, people, emotions - everything. From strangers, we become friends, turn into lovers, back to square one for almost a year, and we’re now plain old good friends who pray the best for the other.

Just for the record, I’m glad time and that other thing evolved you into who you are right now. I’m happy you’ve found what you have been searching for all this while :) Take care Is!

Stepping On Glass.

Sometimes, I cannot help feeling that some people are saying or doing things just to piss me off or step on my toes unnecesarily. Thanks for effectively spoiling my morning, kindly do it every morning k :)

Timestamp.

If you would have realized, this blog of mine which was not too long ago gathering dust is now back in full form, with entries every single day for the past two - three weeks (with photos, somemore!). Some of my friends have asked how come I suddenly have so much energy to blog every single day, given the fact that I return home at 9 - 10pm on most days.

Well, the truth is that I DON’T blog every single day! In fact, I now usually blog on one weekend in the week, for a few hours straight haha. The tactic that I am trying out now is to just go enjoy life on weekdays, gather all the photos and try to retain as much memory as I can and jot it all down during the weekend which I am free. In order to not waste all the details into one long dreary entry, I split them up and time stamp the entries to be published automatically daily.

Things I Overlook.

In my quest to have exciting, out of the box dates, I have overlooked the small things that used to make us trippy-happy and contented. I now realize I miss lazy Sundays around the neighborhood, having an uber long prata session, walking about aimlessly with camera in hand, or just popping by the neighborhood arcade playing as how the children do.

And I definitely, definitely miss him blushing *inside joke*.

As the sun sets,

As the sun sets, turning day into night, we are constantly reminded of our own mortality. Unlike the spin of the earth which gives ample ways to calculate the time between daybreak and dusk, unfortunately we do not have the means to calculate how long of a journey we are given.

Time and time again we get reminded of this fact and yet time and time again, we, or rather, I, choose to ignore it. This, is what I call being stupid.

Daddy’s Bday Celebration.

Since Daddy kept saying that he wants nothing for his birthday, I decided to just treat my family and BestyCouzy Ica’s family for supper to celebrate the occasion. The initial plan was to head out to East Coast Park for the usual seafood fare but Bibik suggested KTM and thus, off we go!

When we arrived, the place was already full to the brim and it took us probably fifteen minutes of walking aimlessly about that we finally got seats. That too, after Bibik enquired a family if they were done eating hahaha. And upon ordering the food, we were informed that waiting time was 50 minutes! Piang! Haha..

However, Ica insisted that the food was good and since we DID travel all the way here, might as well a wee bit longer. Furthermore, it did help that the guy manning the cashier was cute HAHA.

This is how my desk looks like.

Nothing better to kick start the day by coming to a still vacant office, dance and sing whilst making toast in the pantry, amble back to the desk (still singing) and slowly sift through work and prepare checklist for the day :)

I LOVE coming to the office in the wee hours, really. But it’s the waking up at an Ungodly hour that’s preventing me from doing it often hahaha!

P/s. Yeah I have tons of crap on my desk haha. Maps of China (where we import products), Africa (where we export them to), film negatives, polaroids, random quirky cutouts from magazines and stuff kekeke. What? Where’s my tons of work? All stuffed under the cabinet, baby! :P
