‘Pregnant’ Ladies - To Be Given MRT Seats?

Everytime I board the MRT to and fro from work, I would be plagued with a dilemma which would tug at my very conscience and sometimes, sometimes, it would even cause me a sleepless journey throughout.

Being one who is always conscious of the fact that the seat I am sitting on gives priority to the silver generation as well as mothers-to-be, I would most of the time give it up to them when need be. Simple as the concept might sound, I (as well as some like-minded friends) faced this problem when giving up seats to the latter group - the problem of identifying them in the first place.

You see, sometimes, women with bulging tummies due to fats can tend to look like they’re pregnant and likewise. So how do we differentiate between the two?

At The End Of The Day.

My take on singledom? i love it, who doesn’t? okay, hold. i guess what i mean by that is i love the perks that come along with singledom. i don’t answer to any specific guy, i’m free to hang out with all three of them: tom, dick and harry and still, no one gives two hoots and no one has sole propriety of me. i am my own person and i don’t feel like 24/7 of my time has to be devoted to that special someone. and of course there is still the fact that ‘the grass is greener on the other side’ saying can actually be applied, and not just said.

for once, you can actually cross over the fence and explore other greener grass, instead of just peering over but never actually making a move. it’s the novelty of meeting new people, experiencing new stuff with the unfamiliar, taking a step into the unexplored, and basically, that thrill makes it more exhilarating than the familiarity of a status quo that binds you down.

The Perfect Future.

It is in my opinion that everyone has their own definition of a perfect future for themselves. Some achieve it, some don’t. Nevertheless, I think everyone has the right to just dream of it, maybe work towards it and perhaps relish in the fact that they at least tried their best into converting that dream into a reality to live in.

Due to the many variations of human personalities, I think that the type of future that everyone dreams of can really vary a lot. For some, it could be being the CEO of a multi-national, multi-billion and many other multi-s company. For others, it could be opening a charity and live simply in order to help others achieve their dreams.
