Here’s to you!

Note to self (and other Muslims) for next year’s new year : Bring your own prayer materials and reach the Mosque at least 30 minutes before Maghrib. It gets a wee bit disheartening when you’re greeted with Mosques full to the brim and find that you’re unable to pray together with the masses :/

Ah well. Here’s to a better, more fulfilling year ahead. Hmm… I have so much to write but so little time. It’s really great that the weekend is approaching, yahoo!

Team Missfits!

Last Sunday, Team Missfits held our first training session at NTU and thank God, I think it went smoothly. Although turnout was approximately about two-thirds of the names we gathered, it was STILL enough to make 2 teams! That’s alot of names, actually. I think we kind of went overboard with the recruiting process, heh.

But then again, there’s always the factors like people not turning up or worse, not even appearing at all, so I guess having more is better then having less. This way, we’d always be able to play games! Which was, of course, our motive in holding the sessions :)

Where’s my holiday?

It’s 2am in the morning, I have netball with Team Missfits in 7 hours and yet all my mind is on is the short getaway that a few friends and I are planning. I’m engorging myself with details of activities I can do, places I can visit and stuff like that but at the back of my mind, all I can think of is the high possibility rate that the trip would be canceled.

Shit like that does happen, you know. I recall during the past two years, many times such grand plans would be down the drain at the eleventh hour when friends back out, or financial issues surface. I can’t help feeling a tad weary, if you get what I mean.

Lazy Pangs.

If you’re the kind who actually reads blogs a lot and have been doing so for a long time, then you’d have realized that most bloggers actually go through certain standardized phases, like commenting too much, or too little, blogging twice a day or not at all for days on end.

The “internal” error I was referring to in the previous actually meant - myself. HAHA. There’s something about working in the office that mentally drains oneself and when all the after-office hours revelry has finally come to an end, all I want to do is crawl into bed to top up my energy source.
