Skate Scooter!

The other day, Haikal and I wrecked our brains to find an activity to do which would fulfill the letter F for our Alphabet Weekends and finally came out with - keeping Fit while having Fun without Finance HAHA.
After searching though the store room, I finally found my trusty old Skate Scooter (from YEARS back) which, no surprise here, has rust all over, gave it a quick wipe and met the boyfriend downstairs who was already excitedly zipping around under my void deck.

Seriously, it was so darn fun! As our legs kicked against the gravel, feeling every bump and knock, the breeze tousling our hair, we just kept laughing with glee recalling our past happy moments with the Skate Scooter back when we were in primary school. Looking at the pictures above, seems like we still got the magic ey ey ey! Hahaha…
The initial plan was to ‘ride’ all the way to West Coast Park from my crib which is at Jurong West Extension, but upon reaching Jurong East, we realized we could take it no more and decided to make a u-turn back home.

Along the way, we found cool spots and short cuts that we never knew existed and had fun just exploring every route available, taking in the sights and the experience. The weather was playing tricks on us, what with being scorching hot at one moment and drizzling the next. Needless to say, my sniffling situation right now is not really a surprise, ey? Kekeke…
Oh! Oh! And we finally found the place to rent kayaks at Chinese Garden! $5 for TWO hours! So cheap! So cheap! Muahahaha!

Thus, 5 hours later, we finally reached back at our starting point all dark-skinned and exhausted, dying because we didn’t expect Skate Scooter-ing to be SO exhaustive. Would we do it again? Definitely. Because the wistful looks of children we zoomed by is SO damn worth it HAHAHAHAHA.

Kat sini xmas is forever. Most ppl i know didnt get back to work until two weeks into the New Year. Permalas punya org putih. Most tunggu one more celebration.. Plus, if anything ever goes wrong, in which i pray it doesnt.. its fun to burn the evidence hahahahaha..
