Time to get a new HP.
After 2 years serving me relentlessly day in night without much rest, I think my Sony Ericsson handphone, the k750i, is slowly waving the white flag - by choosing to peel off its buttons and reveal its white interior -.-|||
Since a few weeks back, I would suddenly wake up and find a button missing, or the phone experiencing a cardiac arrest (turns on and off by itself) and things to that effect. Many a times I had to perform CPR on it and whatnot. Sadly, I think with recent events, the phone is admitting defeat pretty soon :(
So kids, I need your help. I’m currently under M1 and would like to recontract with them for 2 more years. What phone should I get, seeing that my budget is not more then $100? Sigh. If only we’re allowed to repurchase the k750i. I REALLY love this phone, I tell you!

no!, its not cheaper in malaysia! i checked the hp prices out over the weekend. it’s still much cheaper in singapore!

Whatever you do… DO NOT GET NOKIA. very bad after sales service. and it seems that everyone i know that owns a nokia will be sending his/her hp to the Nokia so-called-care centre.

I’m a owner of k750i for 2 yrs and currently looking at k770i which is almost similar in all features, great replacement for k750i fans !

HAHAH, everyone’s promoting sony erricsson! so, here i go.. get my phone K800i. bestest best. it’s more than a phone to me. with 3.2mega pixels camera and an in built mp3 player, it functions as a 3 in 1 miraculous technological device ever created. weeeee.
anything la beb, buy anything but nokia, samsung, lg, motorola, O2..etc. which leaves u with… SE! HAHA (:

I’m sorry I can’t really help here. I’ve always used Nokia phones(three different ones over the past eight years), and the 6230i I own I’ve been using for almost three years, no problems whatsoever. Not much of a mobile phone enthusiast. If it makes calls and sends SMSes, it’s a decent phone by my standards.
Do tell when you find a replacement.

got it for free for recontracting with starhub anyway. i think it should be super cheap in other shops too

k750i’s a good phone. Mai has it. Anw, Nokia has this navigator series which i found totally cool. Had this GPS thingy built-into the phone and you cannot get lost in Malaysia or SG with that one. heh

If you want something less than a 100 bucks, I think the Nokia 6300 should be alright… But that’s just me. Overall, I’ve been using the phone for the past few months and it’s quite okay laaaa.. And I’m not sure about this but when I switched from Singtel to M1 using this phone… It actually tells me where I am. So erm.. is that something for M1 users or what? :/ I’m sucha noob.
