Re-entering the Workforce.

So basically the second week of my employment has passed and I have to say, it has been a wonderful experience thus far. The fact that I have finally broken away from call centers has been a much welcomed change and I think that I definitely prefer doing administration work then facing the onslaught of terrible customers screaming down the phone.

With colleagues and managers who have been the friendliest and most supportive higher authority I have ever met, it is no surprise that I find it easy to get to work each morning; unlike the dragging of feet to work for my previous two jobs.

The things that I do also prove to be interesting and I like learning the ropes of the whole import-export business. The elders in the family have been telling me to learn as much as I can as it would deem helpful in the future, so I’m really keen on doing my best and absorbing whatever I can.

On another note, I love the whole environment at work! I got a really huge desk for myself and look at the view, man! Kekeke… I feel like I really have a place to call my own :) Am going to start bringing posters and pictures to hang so it’ll feel more homey.

Anyway, let’s hope my energy lasts for the next 4 months I’m working there. Wish me all the best! :D

Wow, you’re lucky that you love your work!

It’s only been 3 days there and I don’t exactly hate it but I do dread my day at work every morning when I wake up.
I keep thinking - omg what if I screw up???

But okaylah, at least I don’t have to stay there for longer than 2 months, insyaAllah (:

Oh yeah, I do both admin stuff AND answering calls.
Yeck!

HAHA. Looking at all my colleague’s number of files, I have a feeling the big and long desk will look small once it gets taken up by the file :/
