Hair woes.
9 months down after my first hair rebonding session, it is but inevitable that my pesky frizzy curly wavy hair returns to haunt me. If you have noticed, for the past few month or so, I have been going everywhere with a pair of sunglasses on top of my head. Let it be known that it is NOT for shading my eyes, but as a, drum roll please, hair band. Kekeke.
Can’t help it lah, somehow I find the sunglasses do the job better then real hair bands, and perhaps it makes some sort of a fashion statement (HA more like disaster, since I wear it indoors, outdoors, in the pouring rain and even in the middle of the night). So anyway, the point is, I am getting really sick of my frizzy hair again and when my long awaited cheque comes in, I am going to blow the whole amount on a hair rebonding session.
But you see, the ‘woes’ part doesn’t come along due to the hair frizz because I know that with a touch of those wonderful life changing chemicals at the salon, it can be fixed. My ‘woes’ come from the fact that I can’t seem to make up my mind on how to cut (or not) my hair.
Thing is, I’ve been donning the same hairdo for most of the year that I’m getting kind of sick of it. I feel like getting it chopped shorter, or fashioned in a unique way but I don’t know if the new cut will compliment my face. For some people, bad hairdos last probably a month but my hair growth crawls at a miserably slow pace that I might have to suffer from Badhairvitis for the rest of my life.
Opinions time! Help me out, kids.
The safest choice that I’m thinking of now is just chopping it at shoulder length, layered and then later just clipping my fringe up. I did it before, and it looks not too shabby. Coupled with a pair of Aviators, perhaps just nice.
And THIS is the hairstyle that has been giving me my woes. (Actually, the bob she had in the Umbrella video is more accurate lah). I am feeling so itchy feely wanting to cut my hair this way, but I am hesitant as I don’t know if it will be able to suit my face, or if it needs lots of maintenance etc.
Never mind the fact that some consider it passe, or overused because I go googoogaagaa every time I see a lady walking pass me donning it.
How how how?! Oh and by the way, any salons to recommend? My budget is 130 for both rebond and cut :)
I like hairstyle #2, but you have to be prepared to utilize only ONE of your eyes. :D
S$130… u can get it even cheaper at… Melaka *hehehee* That was where I went to get a haircut two weeks ago @ only RM20. Hotel salon some more!! I think rebonding is at RM90.
Hahah Alah clip up lah! Anyway… kalau go Melaka, i think transportation and accommodation cost would totally offset the savings! kekeke…
An friend of mine actually rebonded and bob her hair at JB (shopping centre, but don’t recall which one actually) for RM$100.Nice.Just give it a shot, Faddy!I had bob but dint rebond it so after a month, the ends tend to curl. So for bob, unless u have super straight hair, rebond it- it looks better. Though now I still have shoulder length hair (not bob-rebonded though..hehe), its hard to maintain as my hair is just as stubborn as yours i guess.Anyhoos, I still think should give a try :)
Alamak, which one eh? Cuz MY friend went to rebond at JB for RM$200 like that, and her hair came out like penyapu lidi! Ishk… scary thought, I tell you. Ok that’s 2 votes for #2.
i just had my hair cut short from a waist length to a hairstyle no 2 minus the long fringe.. and oohh i hv super straight hair..
I envy those with nice curly or wavy hair… but mine all covered anyway so i dun hv a problem on hairstyles.
Maybe u can try some saloon at Bukit Merah Ctrl, near my workplce, cos they charge cheaper i guess. My haircut n Wash cost me $15..yeayness..

i also have very, very curly hair and did rebonding but my hair grow so fast that i couldn’t be bothered to do it again. i chopped my hair off on my own and let the curls grow back again.
now if my hair menyebok, i just tie into 2 ponytails or pigtails and put on my Shrek hairband.

i see alot of people donning the second haircut…it looks sophisticated but it all boils down to whether you can carry it off or not…go for something daring! just try it out…last time, i’ll just cut my hair real short id I can’t figure out what style I want it..:P

And it was a good cut too, as the hairdresser didn’t really listen to me but did her own thing because she said what I wanted won’t suit my face shape so good for her!
So I think she’ll offer cheap rebonding rates too.
This place is all the way over at the East though, somewhere in Tampines haha.
The hairdressing shop is not really a rented shop but the hairdresser’s own apartment, which is cooool cause she installed aircon and her hair gizmos in her balcony.
Anyway, go for hairstyle #1, I thought that pic of you was pretty (:

haha. suker hati kau la nak, as long as you get a freaking good hairdresser and he can do some fine stuff to your hair.
i had my hair messed up in june(well, some friend cut it for me, & screwed up big time) so i got to this hairdresser, he saved my hair and life for me. he rocks.
but for that haircut, i paid $59. haha. considered small compared to when people pay $300 plus for a hair cut only.

the longer the hair length the better
coz if short the hair will kembang.
It might look nice e beginning but somehow later it will go kembang.
I used to rebond my hair like 5 yrs ago.
I still prefer the curls lar babe….
