More hooray hooray!

Hello Kids! Faddy’s still alive and kickin’, albeit a tad too exhausted. The endless celebrations which end in late nights have taken quite a toll on me, and currently I’m down with sore eyes and the beginnings of a flu. Meh, if there is a sickness that I absolutely abhor, it’s the flu. I find the whole nose dripping or clogging shenanigans really irritating. Agreed?

In any case, there’s quite a number of things I want to blog about, and so little time, so let’s just proceed :) Oh by the way, thanks Kal for lending me your laptop, allowing me to install photoshop in it, and totally take over your disk space with my thousands of photos. Hukhukhuk.

On last Thursday, I returned to work with much dread in me. Initially I wanted to ask for a 3day break, but seeing the fact that the place is so understaffed, with only 3 people manning the lines at that time, I just had to suck it up and go. Oh wells~

And it was a good thing I went, cuz during my lunch break, Doreen my colleague returned with a huge chocolate mousse cake from Amara Hotel and gave it to me as a birthday present! Aww so sweet right? Haha, I was totally taken by surprise and the event pretty much cheered up my entire day :) Thanks again girl! The cake was damn gooood!

Later in the evening, as I was galloping down the office looking forward to break my fast at home, I was surprised to see Kal waiting for me and together with him, was my bestmatfriend Fitree!

Haha, it’s been quite a while since Fit, Kal and I have collectively met together, as Fit had been busy with school and was saying about how funny (maybe awkward?) it is now that his best friend and his minahfriend have got together.

At the end of the day, I sure hope we managed to prove him wrong cuz personally I felt that we did have a ball of a time like we have had before :) Thanks for the dinner and hanging out. I really miss you loads ok!

Friday night was surprise part deux from Kimmy and Nassy. They had earlier on reminded me to wear something formal for the night, but me being me, was being really lazy and just wore whatever that didn’t need ironing in the morning.

And BAH I so regret it can? haha. I felt so under dressed being in their company haha. Kimmy was looking all suave and Nassy looking all gorgeous with her MAKEUP and HIGH HEELS hahaha.

So anyway, I was beaming away when I stepped into Hard Rock, and when we approached the table they reserved, my beaming turned into a huge ass “i can see your gums!” smile when I saw that Haikal was seated at the table also hahaha.

Earlier on in the day, Kal had picked me up from work and accompanied me whilst I waited for 7pm (which was the time I was supposed to meet Kimmy and Nassy). At 7pm, he said he had to go off as he was meeting his Kak Este (his cousin) and thus bode farewell.

Little did I know that the trio were in cahoots! kekeke. I am glad my friends and him seem to get along well, Alhamdulillah.

The food at Hard Rock was okay; I especially loved the pasta I had which was served with my salmon. Noone finished their food as the servings were huge and the super cheesy nachos we had as an appetizer dish very much filled our stomachs even before the main dishes arrived.

After dinner which had throngs of laughter and conversations, as well as a birthday song by the Hard Rock crew, we headed over to Esplanade to catch Plainsunset (POWER la sia) and finally went home sweet home… at 1230am, much to Mummy’s displeasure hehehe.

Thanks Kimmy and Nassy for taking BIG troubles to surprise me not once but twice on my birthday. I really am SO touched and you guys are THE best ok? Muacks!

The next morning, I woke up bright and early as I was SO looking forward to the day. Earlier on in the week, the Ori3 had planned to go on a double date. The initial plan was to go rollerblading together, but Kal and I chickened out and decided to stick to what we do best – cycling. Muahaha!

It was already noon by the time the four of us (including Sandy, Fit’s girlfriend) gathered with rented bicycles in tow. It was SO like me, fit’s and kal’s first few trips together, just roughing it out and this time with Sandy, it was like doing things for the first time together again.

All following photos either come from Haikal’s or Sandy’s camera. Prepare for an influx cuz I love every single photos we took can?! hahahha. And as for my own camera, I haven’t put it to use for quite a while. The lazy bugs have gotten to me lah.

I had SO much fun, can? It was my first double date, ever, and after the 4 of us got over the initial awkwardness and we got used to each other, it waas laughter all the way. Camwhoring, playing silly games and whatnot.

At the end of the day, I was glad we decided to have the double date. One more friend for lil faddy! Sandy, it was great meeting you and here’s to more double dates in the future! Hurrah!

(Ok I’m getting lazier here hahaha)

Sunday was my date with my besty couzy Anz. Just a simple celebration with a lot of shopping (Thanks for the two shirts, grrl!), washing of eyes and sharing of family stories. Hoho, it’s always essential to keep up with family gossip you know. Kwang3. Love you cuzzy!

So that pretty much summarizes my entire of last week. There’s still some other outings which I haven’t blogged about (pass the pictures!), but we’ll leave that for some other time :) Meanwhile, will someone PLEASE repair my computer hahaha.

P/s. WAH finally something I wrote in this blog made it to paper (Berita Harian, 06/08/08)! Hahahaha! Thanks to those who alerted me or congratulated me. And for your info, Fitree (who’s entry is also on the same page!) and I are so jakun about it that we plan on posting it on our walls… hehehe…
