Of people from the past.

Last night I bumped into one of my besty couzy Anz’s previous boyfriends whom I have taken a great liking to and after a short catching up session, I found myself tearing a wee bit when I walked away. I know, very emo haha. Thing is, I really miss the bugger alot and it is quite overwhelming to see him so different now, since he has completed his NS. I’ve always thought me and him would be ‘cousins’ somewhere down the road you see :P

Anyway one thing led to another, and as the night crawled on my thoughts drifted to the people whom I’ve not kept in ‘concrete’ contact with for a long, long while and would like to have a meetup with them soon. There’s so many to mention, but these are a few I managed to find pictures of (in no order):-

The Friday Box!

If you were born around the 1988 era, do you recall buying small black plastic bags from the mamak shops at the void decks when you were in primary school? The small sealed bags which cost fifty cents apiece would contain like SO many knick knacks inside, and every time I managed to buy one using my meagre pocket money, the anticipation of knowing what was inside would drive me crazy!

Snore.

Busy at work, busy with life, busy trying to study hahaha. A real update on Friday, promise! :D

P/s. To those who called or smsed me 815pm onwards last night and got shouted at or heard me mumbling incoherently, I really do apologize. Was asleep by 8pm and was feeling very, very cranky hehehe.

Losing Weight.

How to lose weight in 1 day :

Grab a willing partner to fast with you, spend the day studying at the community centre, do prayers together at the mosque, break fast at the kopitiam next door and walk all the way from Lakeside to home sweet home under the cool night sky with him.

Thanks Kal :)

The Makan Kakis go to JB!

It started as early as 1030am in the morning, with the thunderstorm which bellowed across town finally halting to a drizzle, spilling warm sunshine on the streets. I remember as I was walking with Nassy to our meet up point at Kranji MRT, Shaz and Hana called out and practically bounced towards us. And at THAT moment, I knew the entire day was going to really be a ball of fun, which it was :D

Now now, before I continue, just know this entry has, get this, around 50 photos. HAHAHAHA *slaps forehead* Don’t ask me how one day of just EATING can lead to the birth of that many photos, ask Nassy. I practically gave her the camera that day as I couldn’t be bothered kekeke. And with that, we begin!

Stomp Seen - A joke?

In the rare moments these days that I actually get to surf the net whilst waiting for cases to arrive at work, I would usually use the time to randomly surf the internet and a few weeks back, I came across Stomp; a so called ‘online portal’ for citizen reporting.

The prospect was promising. Finally, a platform for us Singaporeans to write and report without being bounded by red tape (although I DO suspect there are still some in place). Users, also known as Stompers, are allowed to upload pictures and include stories under the Singapore Seen section, afterwhich other Stompers can view and comment on.
