Ok I’m like damn slow, since like the whole world blogged about it already. Can’t help it lah, I’m up to my neck with work and trying to customize my theme. I’ve given up trying to understand the PHP book anyway, it still spells gibberish to me after the fifth attempt.
I’ve resorted to surfing several blogs, like Uncle Sha’s and Mr Malique’s, viewing the page sources, checking out what I like and from there it was a simple trial and error method in getting the codes right. I have to say it is the most effective method, since I learn from my mistakes :)
So anyway,
Yanni somehow managed to get the owner to sponsor the dinner, and I have to admit, it was one of the best Ayam Penyet dishes I have ever tasted! Upon entering the location and realizing it was an open-air “coffeeshop” with cats milling around, I was rather apprehensive but once my taste buds got to work, it was seven heaven.
Nevermind the fact that conversation was hampered due to the seating arrangement (and perhaps cuz I don’t know 75% the people there haha), the food was good enough to make the travel over worth the while.
I finally did get to meet 4 of my favourite bloggers, Shaz and Aidil as well as Ms Drubilee and her husband, Edroos. I can say that the 4 of them were how I expected them to be, so thank God for that hahaha.
On a kind of related note, I realized that I have gotten myself into a big mess. This blogging world and making friends online thing is much more complicated then I have thought! Very headache :( And all along I went online to run away from the realities of the world hahahaha.
Ok, new resolution. To be less judgmental, to not make assumptions based on stories, and only ‘evaluate’ a person after meeting him/her in real life… Give me the strength and courage, Oh God… K, I’m tired.

Eh if Nad gets a job in Tg Pagar we’ll take you out for lunch la ok… Hahha not good la everyday eat lunch in the office.. got nice places to eat tau around the area…!!!

anyway ya okay sure, we’ll go out sometime :) make the plans and mail me and shasha or something. im sure he wants to meet you guys too!
aiyah!! it’s near the S21 kopitiam.. there’s a chinese coffeeshop right.. it’s on the right near the block’s postal boxes… cannot miss one.. got long queue always.. then got fruit shop for a long variety of juices and fruits!!!
die2 must try! cheap and good.. the nasi padang.. a lot of variety in the lauk!!! Arrghhh boleh giler!! Hahaahhah

As for online being the new reality, i heard that somwhere also, kind of true. We incorporate it so much in our lives, dah macam reality. I bet in a couple of years somehow this two will merge. wonder how that will turn out. in a somewhat related note, i saw this disturbing video of this robot which moved and responded EXACTLY like a baby!! freaky! ok dah. ahhaha.
Yeah, choose friends wisely. Whatever it is, from now onwards, I’ll choose to remain neutral UNTIL i meet the people themselves and form my own opinions. Stories tend to be biased, and there are always two sides to a coin ey? :)

There’s once me & Apek went to Changi to grab Nasik Lemak but I end up eating Nasik Ayam Penyek as we passed the stall & the people there eating it with so much “yum”.
Even tho I ate it like once a wk, I shall nvr get tired.

dear faddy, having new resolution is good. to be less judgmental, to not make assumptions based on stories is definitely a good practice. evaluate a person after meeting him/ her in real life is not enough. one meeting is not enough. every first meeting will all be prim and proper and goody. but getting to know the person from the heart is important.
maybe you have not seen the world yet, they are too many vicious ppl out there. ppl who you think isnt good can turn out to be good. ppl whom you think is good, can turn out to be the musuh bawah selimut and etc.. ppl can change and some can even camouflage. there are also many kind of pretenders…
choosing your friends wisely – yes thats true. but everyone won’t be lucky to know that they chose a correct and a good friend until they know their friends flaws, bad and good behaviour. and until they went thru ups and downs together. this world is a complicated one.
if you think that my words may apply one day, go ahead and heed it. else ignore. anyway, never take online thingy friendships so seriously.
ehhee sorry lah lambat. I’m too sleepy everytime I return from merayaping and have work next day so must wake up early. Pfft.

But one thing though, some online friendships I feel can be taken seriously lah, the few gems. In Uncle Sha, Eddy, LTS and Fitree, I’ve found people I really look up to and treasure, and speaking for myself, I’ve proceeded to ‘categorize’ them as friends friends and not online friends.
oh ya lah kalau shah, eddyboi, i think they are ok. they are the few ones of my online blog mates which i treasure and i consider to categorise them as friends. i can get along better with guy friends from last time, girls ada leceh sikit mulut dan perangai nye… :) but then again, depends. what im trying to say by never take online friendships seriously as in don’t be gullible and give your trust easily to ppl you have not know them, don’t easily like them to the core and think that they can get along with you after 1 or 2 meet ups. cos we never know who we are dealing with. get it faddy? individual views ok.

ok ok macam gini.. from the entrance of the malay village nye gerbang (facing the carpark), you just turn RIGHT, and you will end up at a mini “coffeeshop”. Sri bistari is just one of the stalls there. You can ask anyone there, they confirm know one!
