Exhaustion.

When I was telling my mom in a phone conversation a few hours back that I’d be home late as I was out with a friend, she started going on and on about how I’ve been getting home late every single day of the week.

Of course, at that point of time, I started saying “Where got? Where got?“, but after the phone clicked to a silence, I realized that what she said was true.

Making it to the big Three.

I was just looking through my statistics and realized that this entry would be my 300th on Fingersdontfing.com! Nothing really significant, except for the fact that…

My previous entry on ghosts finally manage to enter Ping.sg’s top 10 popular entries for the day, at number three (Last checked at 445pm on 27/06/07)! Hahahah.

It’s so weird that things like these come when you least expect it :) Thank you for the comments (highest amount ever for an entry) and sharing your stories, guys! There are many stories from readers coming in, so you might want to read the comments from other readers too!

(Actually this post is just a filler for today as I am too scared to write anything at 12am after reading and replying to all your comments wakakaka!)

Jurong West St75 Haunted?

[ IMG temporarily removed due to copyright issues ]

I understand that amongst my blog readers, lie quite a substantial portion of you who live around my area, which is Jurong West St 75 (Singapore). Being right smack in the middle of two prominent ‘landmarks’ of that area, which is Gek Poh Shopping Ctr as well as Jurong Point, it therefore came as a surprise to me when I found out, after 12 years of living here, that that area (marked with a star) is haunted.

Just two days back, my uncle who was manning his stall at Gek Poh Shopping Ctr at around 5pm, was approached by a couple of gasping teenagers beckoning him frantically to help their friend. The girls, who were in their early teenagers, told him that whilst they were walking and fooling around along that stretch of road, one of their friends (A) suddenly went really quiet and her facial expression had changed.

:( My sidebar’s all messed up. Instead of splitting into two mini sidebars, they have merged into one long one. Have reuploaded theme, rewrote and readjusted widths, but to no avail.

Help, anyone?

Edit : Weee! Mr Malique has helped me fix the problem! Thank you many many mister! I’ve voted for you nong nong ago by the way. If any of you readers haven’t, Vote now!

Vivo with SarahSafarisauce.

The weather’s pretty screwed up the past few weeks ey? Even with the fan turned on to the highest speed (I usually use the lowest), I still found myself waking up drenched in sweat. Such a yucky feeling that is.

I’ve tried convincing mom for the millionth time ever to install airconditioning in the household (more specifically, my room), but as usual, it was like talking to a wall haha. Anywhoos, upon further reflection, I’d be selfish if I get airconditioning cuz that will SO screw up the weather futher, so there. Someone should get me a humanitarian award wakakaka. Kidding.

Getting Clothes For Raya!

A part of the family tradition every time Hari Raya Aidilfitri draws near is to head over to Johore Baru twice - once to visit Lagenda (a boutique at Angsana Shopping Mall) to choose our cloths and the design for the Raya outfit and the second time, to get the sewn outfits - all blinged and oozing of that “new” fragrance.

Father’s Day Celebrations.

Last Saturday (I know, this is SUCH a belated entry hahaha), the family on Dad’s side decided to have a gathering to celebrate Father’s Day as well as my grandparents 50th Anniversary.

The whole day basically comprised of camwhoring and stuffing our faces full of food. Like… You should have seen the spread! My humongous dining table couldn’t accommodate it, so we had to recruit one study table and the top of my shoe shelf! Wahahahaha. It’s no wonder I feel so chubby these past few days :P

RoomsDB.net

I recall quite some time back, a friend of mine who’s a Malaysian studying in Singapore griped about how he found it hard to find room rental here in our country. According to him, classifieds and ads are rather sporadic, and agencies which assist in getting rooms usually charge a high fee for the service.

Sebastian, the ehem, good looking (picture under the cut) sole developer and “team” behind the non-commercial http://singapore.roomsdb.net, too faced a similar issue when he was an NUS student here a few years back. However, unlike my friend, he decided to create a change by providing a solution at his own cost, aiding throngs of others who faced the same situation.

Girl Next Door.

A month back when fingersdontfing.com turned one year old, I recall asking a favour of everyone who linked to me to change my link title to “Faddy | Girl Next Door“. Looking through my statistics, I notice that many still are linking me as Fingersdontfing Faddy :)

I understand fully that I am in NO position whatsoever to force you guys to change it, and I have to admit that the act of linking me is already good enough already (haha thanks guys!), but I think I should explain in detail the rational behind my request and hopefully convince the rest of you to do me this small favour. Hehehe.

(Those who requested for me to give tips in making money online, this is a tip! Read on!)

Back to school.

It has been quite a while since I’ve last met any of my JJC schoolmates, so when Dana reminded me that the both of us have yet to collect our certificates (pfft), I asked her out and we finally got to meet up.
