Walking on foot for 10km.

A few days back, I managed to finally meet up again with Fitree, my mat friend whom I met through blogging. He was bored and I wanted a Kaki to accompany me take photos, so the arrangement was perfect. In the morning, however, Fitree texted me that his best friend, Haikal, wanted to tagged along.
I’m usually apprehensive when it comes to going out the entire day with someone I’ve never known personally, but since I heard alot about Haikal through Fitree and he seemed quite the quirky (HAHA i’ve been wanting to use that word since everyone started using it) character, I agreed. Afterall, what could go wrong?
What I initially fretted, the costs of transportation from moving from one location to another, was unfounded as we actually walked all around. Yessirree we did! The only transport costs I incurred was from my home to the first point of contact - Outram Park Mrt. We subsequently got around a total distance of around 10km on our own two feet. Cool or what?

I have to admit, it was pretty awkward at the beginning and even at some points throughout the journey. At some moments, I find myself wanting to tell Fit something and suddenly remembered Kal being there, and perhaps the same is happening to Kal. Haha! Fit later on mentioned that he hated being in such a position wahaha!
Some people find it easy to make friends at a blink of an eye, but I’m not that kind of person. I would prefer to ‘know’ them first through other mediums, and then finally make friends if I am comfortable with the idea of spending time with them.
And I don’t know why, but I feel more at ease making friends with guys rather then girls. And by making friends, i mean the ‘rilek one corner’ kinda friends, and not the ‘dating’ kind of making friends.
Perhaps it could be my insecurity (where I always feel ‘lower’ then other girls), or the fact that the boys and I have common things to talk about since I’m quite the tomboy, and that I don’t really do things which girls like to do or talk about - shopping, make up, fashion, trends etcetera. Haha! Oh wells~

By the end of the day, after visiting two parks, one museum, and a hell lot of stopovers at other places along the way, I was pretty much shagged like hell haha. The moment I got home, my leg was aching all over and what not, pfft.
But I thought it was worth it as I took many photos (which you will see some other time), walked 10km in one shot for the first time, and sort of made a new friend haha. Actually the term acquaintance would be more fitting at this current moment :)
If all goes well, the three of us are going to cycle from East Coast Park to Changi this coming Saturday. It’s not a confirmed plan though, so I’m not pinning hopes on it. Wow, walking 10km, cycling long distance and maybe Squash with the ‘blogging crew’ next week? FADDY’S ABS ARE BACK YO! Wahahahahaah! K bye kids.
P/s. For a kinda more detailed entry, read Fit’s take. I’m feeling all muddled at the moment due to some technical difficulties this blog is going through. Wah, headache! Headache!
