What will tomorrow bring?

After months of not attending religious classes since I last ‘graduated’ from Madrasah AlJunied, I finally got the chance to attend a class at As-Syakirin last Sunday morning with Peah. It was, truth be told, the first time in years since I last wore the veil outside of a family event.

Computers, Hostings and Blings!

Reviews on:-

  1. Computer repairs with Hidayat.
  2. Domain Hosting with Uncle Sha.
  3. Buying Blings from Our Style Box.

Need your computer repaired, maintained or upgraded?

My computer, if counted in human years, should be due in meeting the Lord pretty soon. It has been loyal to me for the past few years, but lately, the amount of junk in it has pretty much slowed its movements - turning the computer on and to allow it to load fully, would take more then 5 minutes and even getting Mozilla Firefox to open would take around 2 minutes. For myself, who spends 90% of my life in front of the computer, it was a disaster.

Of Soccer And Cycling.

A few days back, as some of you might have recalled, there was a very BIG soccer match (some finals) between Liverpool and AC Milan. As some of you might have noticed from the previous sentence, I am not a soccer fan. I don’t religiously watch EPL, nor Italian Series and whathaveyou Series. But come any finals, I will usually end up watching the game as my friend, Ashrithaa, is an avid soccer fan. No, let me correct that, Liverpool fan. *ehem loser* WAHAHAH!

What makes me proud to be a Singaporean?

Many a times I question myself as to why I am still in this small little red dot on the map, what with its overbearing stance on an education based on examinations, soaring GSTs coupled with ministers’ payroll being on the hike and so on and so forth. Why stay here, when there’s greener pastures elsewhere?

Walking on foot for 10km.

A few days back, I managed to finally meet up again with Fitree, my mat friend whom I met through blogging. He was bored and I wanted a Kaki to accompany me take photos, so the arrangement was perfect. In the morning, however, Fitree texted me that his best friend, Haikal, wanted to tagged along.

Burglar Caught Red Handed!

So it’s like, the other day after a long day from sitting at the library reading up on PHP, I hiked home eager to start using the computer. This was at 6pm. As I approached the house, I could see that the lights were on and could hear voices booming from the boob tube.

I rang the bell. Silence. Knocked the door. Still nothing. Hmm… Maybe whoever’s inside is actually in the toilet. I stoned for 10 minutes, and proceeded to ring, knock AND bang the windows. Still nothing. I finally whipped out my cell phone and found out from the mother that we’re all locked out as my youngest brother is sleeping soundly inside and had locked the gates from the inside. Bloody hell.

Server Transfer in Progress!

Fingersdontfing.com is currently going through some massive server changes and this is the reason as to why viewing was disrupted for the past few hours. If you happen to notice a bug (an error), please email me at fingersdontfingfaddy@hotmail.com and I will try my best to seek help to rectify the error.

Whatever it is, please don’t desert me! I promise you, this is temporary. I have 3 saved drafts to publish already, just waiting for everything to be stable. Thanks :)

[ Click here for Nike Vid ]

Seeing the Nike advert which just recently appeared on the blog, I decided to check out the whole hoohaa. Apparently, it seems that Nike.sg is hosting a challenge between Daniel Ong and Carrie Chong with regards to who can cover the most distance during the competition.

Quite an interesting competition I might add. You can even join a team and run ‘together’ with them! In fact, spurred on by this, I actually walked a total of around 10km yesterday with Fitree and Haikal! Hahha. More of that later on when the blog is stable. As for now, you can just choose to support one of the two celebrities by visiting the Nike website.

Personally, I’m on Carrie’s team. Not because of any feminist issues whatsoever, but because I think it would be a hoot to watch Daniel Ong doing some cheerleading stunts! hahahah!

Bloggers’ Excursion To The Fire Station!

After spending 30 minutes in the Puma shop, finally deciding on what to buy for our dearest Eddyboi, Kimmy and I met up with Uncle Sha (and later on, Luthien) and thus proceeded to Eddy’s Firestation at City Hall. Yes kids, in case some of you did not know this (myself included), that firestation still works! Haha… The building is so ‘old school’ that I have always assumed that it’s no longer functioning. I guess we learn new things everyday huh! :D

Discovering Wealth Secrets with Miriguy.

As some of you would have noticed, there is this particular person who has been aiding me every single day (needs bloody patience to teach me, you know haha) in trying to understand the way money can be made on the wonderful world of the world wide web. I just knew him end of last year as he stumbled on my blog and added me on MSN. From that first chat, we hit off and became friends.
