After work drama.

I hurried on, the thump of my heels reverberating throughout the silent neighbourhood, as I struggled to hold on to my thick file and Adidas sweater while looking for the household keys. I had been nursing a numbing pain in my stomach as I had held in my “big business” since lunch hour. I had to get home, pronto. Some things in life just cannot be delayed too long, you see.

My eyes were cast downwards, straining to locate where those damned keys were. Cursing, I looked up as I felt my heels landing straight into a puddle, wetting the bottom of my only pair of work pants and my already throbbing feet.

A huge black dog stared right at me from 2 metres away, it’s head cocked to the left, 4 feet firmly stuck to the ground. I froze. We stood there for about 5 seconds, each absorbing the presence of one another, as if waiting for the first move, ala old cowboys shootouts.

I finally regained conciousness, as my brain slowly began to register that

  • A huge dog half my size is in front of me.
  • A huge dog half my size and without a leash is in front of me.
  • A huge dog half my size and without a leash is 2 metres in front of me.

My mouth began to gasp half swallowed prayers as my heart thumped and my blood raced to my feet. I was scared stiff. Still repeating the prayers over and over again, I retraced back my steps, my eyes never taking leave from the black figure looming ahead.

1 step back. 2 steps back. 3 steps back. Shit. It moved an inch forward.

I took a quick glance back and saw a Malay lady across the road. Pulling up the file and sweater close to my body, I made a turn and took huge strides towards the lady, reminding myself over and over again never to start running.

I glanced back. The dog was following me, pacing itself to keep around the same distance between the both of us as if mocking me. My prayers became louder as my mind panicked. I was practically saying them out loud.

Salvation in the form of the lady was but a mere few metres away. I raced on, taking a look back every 2 seconds. The lady, sensing my demise, beckoned me over and got me to walk next to her. I gladly took up the offer, nodding in appreciation as she was talking on her mobile phone.

The dog paused, looked at both of us and as if thinking that it’s of no match, headed the other way. I finally gave a huge sigh of relief, greatly thankful for the lady’s help. I smiled at her as she walked away, still chatting to the person on the receiving end of the phonecall.

I continued walking, hearing echos from my heels repeating throughout the entire void deck. I struggled to hold on to my thick file and Adidas sweater while looking for the household keys. The difference was, the numbing pain in my stomach had disappeared hahaha :P

Shit I can’t believe I just wrote a bloody essay on a 5 minutes incident. And sorry for wasting your 5 minutes hehehe.

PS. Note to self: reflect on Johann’s words.

Colleagues.

With regards to the friends issue at the workplace, I have to say I am ok. Am just relieved that I am not the designated outcast or something like that hahaha. Oh yeah, an Indian-Muslim girl got transferred into my department so I have someone to pray with (if I manage to find out where prayer room is, that is).

So far I’ve been sticking with the same group of colleagues, consisting of Mei See (top right), Magdelene, Gwen (bottom left, Left to Right), En Chen, Christine and Benazir (bottom right, Left to Right). Mei See, En Chen, Christine and Benazir are temporary staff like I am, while Mag and Gwen are new permanent recruits.

There are other colleagues, of course, but I have to say I have spoken less then a hundred words to them since Day 1. That amount of words spoken add up to a grand total of zero for some of them wakakaka :P

I guess you’ll see more of their faces and names over the next 4 months. Don’t worry, one day when my colleagues and I have really gelled together, I will take decent photos so you can spot them outside other then the usual Peah, Claire, Kimmy etc. Haha..

As for now, I am like really exhausted and I have a comprehensive list of abbreviations to remember by Thursday, added on to the stack of promotions and key features of the credit cards provided by the bank. Waaaaaaaah~

Cannot tahan. Must go sleep first…

Best Weekend in a long while.

Ok this is going to be one of my long posts which contain an onslaught of photos it just might kill your dialup. I too am too tired to recheck any grammatical or spelling error so don’t be an ass and point out the little mistakes :D

Working at a location 90mins away from my house is killing me softly. I’m used to waking up early, but standing on the MRT a full 1 hour AFTER work is seeping my energy dry. And I have a test to study for this coming Thursday, of which the notes compile into one huge stack. It’s like bloody A Levels all over again. For those who enquired via MSN and Email, I am actually working under a key banking company :)

Aaaaanyway,

The whole of Saturday was spent with my Besty Couzy, Anz. The plan of the day was to check out the recently opened Vivocity as she had never stepped in there before and I only managed to cover the first floor the one time I went.

I too wanted to pick up the tab for everything we spent on that day, as for the past few years, Anz was the one forking out money everytime we went out as she was working. Now that the role has reversed since she entered TP, it was only right that I take up the opportunity to at least repay her abit.

Our first stop was the restaurant named “Secret Recipe”. We were lucky enough to get seats as the whole place was packed full to the brim. I have to admit, I didn’t really like the food much as it was pretty bland and the Lobster Sauce was definitely an acquired taste (which I didn’t have haha). I guess it wasn’t worth the amount they were charging :/

Seeing that it was about to rain we rushed out to grab the view of the sea and the outdoor park which everyone was yapping about the first time Vivo opened its doors to the public. I was so amazed by the tranquility that enveloped me as the sky hung above, even though there were like 1 000 000 other people around.

So pretttyyyy! And I think they’re in the process of building an outdoor mini stage for performances so that’s going to be so damn cool, I tell ya. The kids (and even adults) frolicking in the shallow pool, having picnics on the wooden platforms, the breeze blowing gently and a shopping haven being 10 steps away. What else can you ask for?

After that it was time to get back in and start swiping my spanking new Go! card wakakakka. We went in and out of shops multiple times, trying out clothes and bitching about arrogant salesgirls in the shops who think they’re so highclass working at an upper-end boutique. Hello? You WORK there, not like you bloody OWN the place. *Grumble*

When my ATM finally melted due to too much heat from swiping, we settled at Haagen Daz eating ice creaaaammm! Tried to find a Ben and Jerry’s outlet but gave up haha. Too big la that damn Vivo. We had already walked around non-stop for around 4 hours and we still haven’t checked everything out properly.

Thanks dearest couzy Anz for the day out! I hope you got your things sorted out and that we’ll go out again in the near future aight. I truly love spending the day with you :)

On another note, I think I need to surrender my ATM card back to my mother as I just cannot stop spending. It’s horrible. I’m going berserk, like a lunatic waving the card around thinking everything is free. Just sign! Swipe! Sign! Swipe! Signnnnnn!

Damnit. In around 4 days I have successfuly used up $800. I’ve resolved not to shop or treat anyone again until my first pay comes in. Oh dear God, please let me stick to my resolution arrgggghhh.

Sunday was a short lunch meetup with my two babies, Ashrithaa and Claire (also known as Rhino and Pig respectively). Claire I’ve been meeting quite regularly but Rhino is another matter. It had seemed like an eternity since I last met her, so Sunday was a really great day, no kidding.

These two buggers are the lucky ones who are the last on my treating spree for the week hahaha. I’ve always considered myself lucky to have them as friends as they have never been calculative with regards to money and have always been loaning me when I’m short of cash.

So again, since I have more cash then usual, I feel like I need to at least treat them with what little have :) Gave them a budget and they chose the Bali Thai Restaurant located at IMM.

Pardon the horrible photos I took cuz the food was dammmmnn good. Much more worth it then Secret Recipe, I have to say. Every dish which Claire recommended was liplick-worthy, except maybe for the Otah which I thought was quite horrible hahahaha.

I ordered yellow rice to accompany the dishes and in a mere matter of minutes I was so damn full. We still had quite an amount of Tahu Telor and rice left, actually. The proportions were just enough (if not too much) for the 3 of us.

Once we were done eating, chit chatting and complaining about wanting to shit (hahaha), we headed off to Giant Hypermarket as Rhino and Claire are food freaks who wanted to get buscuits and chocolates.

Claire kept screaming “Omg! This is so damn nice you should try!” at everything we saw on the shelves that after 10 minutes she ran out of saliva and was reduced to just pointing and staring at the foodstuff. Kukunathan.

Around 3 hours after we met, I left them to head over to my second besty couzy (Wani)’s place as I wanted to visit my grandparents as well as meet my Aunt who would accompany me to attend the highlight of the weekend:

The Puteri Gunung Ledang Musical! It was the most worth it thing I’ve ever spent on. Okay, my Aunt spent on, since she treated me hahahahhahhaha.

The costumes were rather average, but everything else offset that! Haha. Seriously, the way they rearranged and reused the props, the superb lighting, the strong cast, the wonderful arrangements, the… sigh. It was perfect. I kept getting amazed every few seconds. ahaha.

Maybe it’s just me, but I thought Hang Tuah played by that AngMoh was rather stiff :/ But other then that.. perfectttt. I loved Bayan’s voice, by the way. And the scene where the Sultan gallivanting around the stage, priceless. hahaha. So many great scenes and songs. I’m getting my mum to order the VCD I tell ya :)

And it was wonderful too, cuz I finally managed to meet Hakim even if only for a short while, saw Irfan (sitting on the same row as Hakim), and I stumbled upon Atikah my secondary school mate :) Oh happy day!

The aunt and I the proceeded to get home via taxi, where we actually stood/walked behind Suzhairie and Fauzi Laily for like 5 minutes with noone else around. I wanted to take a photo with them but felt paiseh as I knew they were trying to disguise themselves, what with their heads facing down and their cap pulled over half their faces. Hahhaa. Oh well~

So this entry finally comes to and end. YAY! Hahhaa. Congratulations to those who have made it thus far :P Ok bye, I want to eat dinner, read through my work notes and get some rest so that I’ll wake up on time for work tomorrow. Goodnight readers!

First Day of Employment.

My first day at work wasn’t half as bad as I envisioned it to be. In fact, it went really smoothly :) The supervisors were not as intimidating as they were during the interviews, the colleagues were all very friendly and talkative (albeit falling into mandaring conversations now and then), and lessons were as if I was getting paid for studying economics so I was attentive all day. Yay!

I don’t know why I was so tired even though all I did was sit around in a 6 hour lecture hahah.. After it all, I went to my grannies where I collapsed on the bed until my dad picked me up. Goodnight world!

Ps. Dear kids, please do not, I repeat do not, leave any comments on past entries as I receive more then 50 comments each day of which most, if not all, are spam so I delete ALL COMMENTS without checking whether there’s a “real” comment in there. Anything just email me aiiiiight :)

Shopping Siao Siao.

The mummy woke me up this morning at around 8am and we sat around in my room chatting for 45 minutes whilst she ironed her clothes and I rolled around on the bed. I realize that mum and I have been talking with each other more often lately. It feels good, truth be told. The dad too, dispensing any advise he has on work. I think he’s happy he doesn’t have to foot my bills and allowances anymore hahaha.

At around 9am mum and I headed to the bank, where Faddy got her first ever independant bank account and her own ATM card! Wakaka. Yah, very slow, I know. Better late then never ey? Mum transferred all the Hari Raya money I had collected since I was a kid into the account and I had $2 200. “Had” is the word, since by the end of the day I was left with $1 700 :D This is what I call “Shopping Siao Siao”!

The first location that the family (Mum, Fauzi, Farhan and I) went to was the People’s Park Mall at Chinatown as Mummy wanted to get some beads for her new business. She’s been making necklaces and bracelets using those beads and apparently each one she made have been sold and she even has people ordering! Not bad ey? Maybe I shall open an online store for her hahaha..

After the beads buying, we decided to head to Funan the IT mall. As we were unsure which direction to head, we just decided to take a cab (very stupid actually since the buildings were only 5 minutes apart wakakaka). The cab driver was sickeningly stupid, deaf and rude I almost picked up a fight with him.

“Uncle, Funan the IT Mall please.”

“AH?! What?!”

“Funan the IT Mall. It is located near City Hall MRT.”

“WHAT?!”

“Uncle.. Funan.. Funan the IT mall. Near City Hall MRT.”

*Ahpek looks pissed and drives one big whole fuckin round and stopped in front of the City Hall MRT station*

“Uncle ah.. It’s in front.. Funan the IT Mall. This one is City Hall Mrt. It’s the Pink building in front.”

“Cannot stop in front lah! That one for bus!”

“Uncle.. It’s a shopping mall, got place for taxi to stop.. Drive in front, to the right. Pink building, Funan the IT Mall.”

“WALAOEH! Why never tell me earlier you want to go Funan? Make things hard for what by saying City Hall MRT?”

“… I told you when I first stepped in that I wanted to go Funan which is near City Hall MRT.”

“NEVER AH! You never say!”

“I did say, but you kept saying WHAT WHAT?”

“You never say Lah!”

Cheeebs. That was the first time I ever went out of a cab without saying “Thank you Uncle! Have a nice day ok?” and I even slammed the door and stared at him as he drove off. Assssss kinda spoilt the happy mood the family was in haha.. So aaaanyway,

As the 4 of us had not eaten a proper breakfast, the first pitstop was Swensens to refill our grumbling tummies and cool down our temper. The Crayfish Pasta, Fisherman’s Stew, Chicken and Fish Baked Rice as well as Ice Cream sure turned our frowns and whines into smiles hahha. Damnn syiok man.

After I signed the receipt (HAHHA! JAKON!), we headed out again into the mall to start shopping!

Farhan got his PSLE results back today and we had to console him for a while. It was so sad to see him standing outside the house, his report slip in hand and his eyes tearing. As he stepped in, the tears started flowing freely and Mum and I started tearing too cuz it was just so disheartening. I swear I thought he failed and had to retain.

But Alhamdulillah, he managed to get into Normal Academic, which we expected him to. Thing is, Farhan was just crying as he knew I got into the Special stream and Fauzi, into Express, so he felt like he was letting Mum down. It’s ok A’an! You got what we needed you to!

So Dad and I pooled in to get him the Creative Zen V Plus and made him promise to work his ass off in Secondary 1 and hopefully try to get promoted to the Express stream or at least remain in Normal Academic. InsyaAllah :)

As for Fauzi, I just felt poor thing for him as everyone was getting gifts from me and he wasn’t getting any hahaha. So I bought him a skateboard and made him promise to work his scrawny ass off for his O Levels next year or I’m going to take it back wakaka. So… yeah.

Mummy? Check! Farhan? Check! Fauzi? Check! Faddy?

CHECK! Wakakaka. Eh pardon the shopping splurge but I seriously have not touched my bank account like EVER so mum allowed me to go shopping with the money for the first time ever :) Cute right my new underwear? Hahahhaa..

So yup I guess that’s it. Didn’t manage to get for Daddy anything though since he wasn’t with us. But mum reckons I can treat him over the weekend or something cuz I feel bad not buying anything for him.

Work starts tomorrow. Please pray that I don’t screw up, that I’ll make friends and the supervisors are at the very least, approachable. Good night darlings. I have to iron my clothes, pack my bags with the notes for the training and get a good night rest to prepare myself for the long, long day ahead :)

Snippets.

Good News:

  • Signed the job contract. Am now employed and earning money! For the first time!
  • Went shopping with Claire Chan today, and with the mum tomorrow. Shopping! For gurly office wear! For the first time!
  • Am going to the bank tomorrow with mummy. To open my own bank account! For the first time!

Bad, BAD News:

  • Kuala Lumpur with friends cancelled due to lack of men.
  • Kuala Lumpur with family cancelled due to lack of time.
  • Bintan with friends most probably cancelled due to Rhino not being able to make it.
  • Working hours are long and the supervisors have been talking like it’s the most demanding job ever. I feel intimidated even before I’ve started the first day of work on Friday.
  • My 14 other colleagues are all chinese. Not that I’m being racist or whatever but it’s gonna be my first experience in a place with absolutely no Malays around. I wonder how it’ll be since I’m all on my own and some of them are already friends before entering the workplace.

Nevermind… I know I will survive, I MUST survive since I can’t quit for the next 4 months or I’ll have to pay $2 000 as compensation. Think positive, Faddy. At least I won’t be broke anymore hahaha yay. There’s lotsa cute guys at the building I work at anyway, so THINK POSITIVE.

Will earn money, will improve self, will gain experience. Yes I will. Oh dear God, help me.

Job Hunting.

Both yesterday and today have been spent with my dearest Peah Totot, a friend with whom I have not been going out properly with for eons. If you have been reading this blog for quite a while, then you should know who Peah is. However, if you’re new, then you’d definitely remember Peah after you see the following photo:

The one on the right is her. Still gorgeous while trying to make a “sememek” face whilst my face is a goner wakaakkaka. Ok nevermind. Back to the story.

Our main reason for going out was to go for job interviews as both of us need quite an amount of cash to substantiate our planned holidays. Peah had been an angel, introducing me to both the job offers that I attended. Thanks hunny!

If all goes well, I’ll be signing a contract tomorrow for a job at the *** (hahha secret!), earning $6 per hour during the initial 2 weeks training and later, if i show good performance, I’d be signed on at $6.80 per hour for the next 4 months. Huaaargh.

The hours are quite long and from Monday to Saturday, so I’ll actually STILL be a busy woman damnit. haha. Oh wells, for the money Faddy, for the money :D Wish me luck!

Oh, and Peah and I dropped by Esplanade too! It’s been MONTHS since I last stepped in there properly and was finally able to borrow DVDs after I paid up my dues and signed on for the $21 premium membership.

One of the 7 DVDs I borrowed was “Bang Bang You’re Dead” and I have to say, it was one of the best films I ever watched. The initial buildup could be rather laggy but once you envelop yourself in the storyline and submerge yourself in the thoughts and feelings of the protagonist, you’ll actually find yourself feeling, hating, crying on his behalf. Darn good I tell ya! Go borrow or get it aight.

So anyway that’s basically it for the past 2 days. Job interviews, resumes, phonecalls and catching up with my dearest pretty Peah Totot :)

On another note altogether, I am really in awe of this boy. Pardon the look on his face, I caught him by surprise hehehe. You see, he was SUCH a gentleman, feeding his little sister, helping her on the chair, not once scolding her when she kept poking and pulling him when he was on the computer or eating, brought his plate all the way to the kitchen and avoided junk food even when his parents weren’t around.

HOW MANY KIDS STILL DO THAT?! Hahhaa.. So amazing. And I love conversing with him, such a smart boy who cares about everyone. He even told me,

“Kak, don’t give my adik too much keropok k? Later she will fall sick :)”

Awww.. I could only hope I can nurture my child into something like him. Chet, it’s not as if I’m getting married soon hohohoho.. Ok then, I’m off to the library to get books. I’ve been deprived of books!

YAY FICTIONNNNNNNN!

Lomo Fisheye.

Faddy as well as her brother Fauzi had bought a new toy last week - the Lomo Fisheye. It is no cheapo toy, mind you (although it does look that way hahaha). The plastic camera cost us S$90 and i felt a tinge of sadness when I realised a Lomo Fisheye 2 was already out in the market. Oh wells. I guess this pretty little thing would serve as a “test machine” before we move on to bigger things.

Being newbies at this Lomo issue, the brother and I went off into the night testing the camera. Ok firstly, I have to explain that the Lomo is NOT a digital camera but rather the old-school film kind of camera and added to that, this particular model does not have a proper viewfinder. Hahaha. Sounds like a recipe for disaster ey?

Well apparently the flash IS a disaster. We took around 12 night shots, and only the above 2 are acceptable. The other 10 highly artistic shots (hahahha) we took have all went down the drain, leaving only a pool of black grainy mess. And here you start to wonder, “Oh my God this Faddy just wasted S$90 on a stupid camera which doesn’t work?”

Well, the thing is…

Unlike normal cameras, the Lomo Fisheye comes with a well… fisheye lens… which can capture around 170degrees of the surrounding, just like what you see in the picture above. Usually taking that row of white/green blocks PLUS the pink/blue block would be impossible from my window but with the Fisheye, TADAAA!

And so the very next day, the brother and I strapped on our shoes and had a photo taking day out, just specially to test out the capabilities of the camera. Please wait for all 16 mini pictures to load before clicking on the first one thankyew :)

Our conclusion? The Lomo Fisheye is useless during night time, needs the flash indoors and in lowlit areas and produces rather funky pictures in strong daylight. Oh, and it raises our cool factor by 5 wakakakaka! Right~

So anyway, it’s definitely not recommended if you want to use it for “formal” photo taking, but as the Lomo’s tagline goes, its more suitable for those who “Don’t think, just shoot!” :D

Oh and by the way, the Lomo’s dead now. My brother dropped it twice and broke it three days after we bought it. DAMNIT. Oh he’s paying me back alright hahaha. Time to work work work (anyone with lobangs?), get some moolah and maybe get the Fisheye 2.

Woohooohooo!

Crikey! It really is over! (Actually 1 last paper tomorrow :P) Hahaha.. I feel like a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulder, irregardless of the fact whether or not I’ve done well in the examinations. I’m just really glad it is all over and that I now have time for myself, my family and my long lost friends who have dutifully stepped aside and listened to me whine when I felt like giving up.

About the papers, I thought I did less then what I can do. Sure, I did lay down the notes and sat in front of them for hours, but my mind ain’t really there most of the time. Pffft.

I still carry hopes that at least I can get into university, but if I don’t, I’d just like to apologise to all of you who had wished me all the best countless of times and wrote long letters giving me tips on how to study. InsyaAllah, I will get into uni but if i don’t, I’m sorry and I will try harder.

I have already carved out a backup plan just in case I do not get into the university for this intake. Huhu. It’s better to prepare the umbrella before the rain, yes?

So henceforth, anyone who asks me how I did, (The below picture is actually a GIF image and I have numbered the “pages” hoho)

Get the idea? Kwangkwang~ All I want to do right now is enjoy myself for the next few months until I get the results.

So now I’m currently unemployed and I need money for my holiday expenses. Mum has given me the OK to go get a job as long as it’s not in the retail or fnb industry, so anyone who has any lobangs, please, PLEASE give me a shoutout. I’m desperate :(

Willing to work Monday to Fridays, best if office hours wakakaka. I can type down stuff rather fast without having to look at the keyboard (thanks blog!), don’t mind sitting in front of the computer for long hours as my eyes are already screwed and I promise not to blog about work politics on my blog.

Since I am so bloody itching to blog after the month long hiatus (congrats Faddy!), I shall just backtrack a few weeks to that Hari Raya family/business gathering which was organized by my Ka$hing Uncle.

The event was actually a Dinner for my Uncle’s company but he invited much of his own relatives to make the dinner more “happening” as year by year, his workers seem to be the unresponsive kind. Haha. Yeap, its an annual thing but conducted in different resorts all over Johore :)

Unlike the past few years, this time the event had a theme to it : Arabian Nights. I was too busy stuffing the freaking delicious Arabic buffet and sheeshaing that I did not go around taking photos but mark my words, it was like a terrorist gathering I tell you! Hahaha! Women in arabian long dresses covering their faces, men in gamis and turbans.. Even most of the kids dressed up!

Anz, if your brother who has the SLR camera but no internet access has somehow uploaded the pictures online, please pass them to me ok baby? Thankyew!

My favourite niece Aleia didn’t dress up though. Haha. Apparently she won’t be able to take the heat and it’s of no point dressing her up as she will need to change every few hours due to her vomit :/ Still cute rocking that flower though hahaha.

Best part of course was that the other cousin, Lily, tagged along for the first time. She being the busy woman that she is working, usually disappear from our lives 99% of the time, suddenly making an appearance only during Hari Raya. Haha. But somehow this year our paths crossed like so many times, its cool.

We’re even meeting up later on the 20th December. Yay! :D Here’s to cousins with whom you can talk to effortlessly even after months of not meeting up.

After the whole event was wrapped up at around 1230am, the Uncle’s family and their 4 cars drove us all the way deep deep deep into the vast regions of Johore, into this big estate area called the Leisure Farms. It’s like subdivided into many estates, one of which hold the houses which my Uncle’s family stay in.

So Kak Suzy (my Uncle’s daughter) had rented one of the 2 storey terraces there for my family and Anz’s family to stayover as we wanted to go family visiting the day after. The place we slept in… it was heavenly.

The whole place in my opinion was built around a Contemporary Zen-like theme, mixing bare concrete tastefully with leather, wood and the lush surroundings of the golf course, lake and shrubs which concealed our terrace. So pretty! And the swimming pool was cool as it had black tiles :D

A survey around the houses next door led to a realisation that most of the houses there are unoccupied but owned, which actually equates to rich Singaporean’s weekend/holiday getaway. Wah syiok man! Who wants to pool money with me to get a house here? Haha.. The makcik-makcik cleaners were very friendly too i loiike.

I spent the morning frolicking away in the pool, basking myself under the warm morning sun and occasionally glancing at my notes hahaha. Must make myself feel less guilty what.. By around 1130am, the driver for our Mercedes van (wahaha mananya mercedes je padahal van Mercedes biasa) picked us up for our relatives visiting.

Sadly, my k750i died after the above last photographs. No, not because of dear Aleia but because stupid me forgot to turn off the music player function before sleeping. Battery seeped dry by the next morning, I tell ya.

But other then that and the fact that I had a splitting headache somewhere in the middle of the day, it was fun. We dropped by shopping malls and bought tons of Vcds and Dvds (whole season of Princess Hours tau AhBoi. Rm$15 je! wakakaka!), food and more food :D Kak Luthien, I am putting on weight! Happy for me? Hahhaa..

We also tried the firecrackers (mercun) kampung style. Ok I didn’t try it but I did watch my cousin. I was too worried that bloody thing will explode in my hand uh :P My verdict is that it was overrated as the only thing that the mercun did was explode with a loud bang. Ok, this is stupid but I was expecting mini fireworks.

I finally managed to rid my room of the stacks of papers that I have been sleeping on. What a breather. Ok, actually I didn’t throw away the more important stuff just in case shit happens, nevertheless they have been stuffed into a corner never to be seen again for the next few months hahaha. I too threw away all those shitty lovey dovey and Nancy Drew novels cluttering my shelves. MUST GROW UP!

Hmm.. I want to blog more but I have no stories to share. AIYOH HOW CAN?!I GOT MANY STORIES TAU LAST TIME! Sigh. Ok nevermind, I should start mugging for my last paper anyway :)
