Fifth Day Of Ramadhan.

I know all of you miss Peah totot, so I went out with her today so that I can take photos of her and please a vast majority of you. HAHA! NOT! I miss that bugger so much as it seemed like years since we’ve last went out. Everyone busy with promos what for the past few weeks. The only times we see each other were before and after papers. So we decided to break fast together-gether today.

The initial plan was to get to Geylang, but aboard the train we realise it would be kind of funny to go Geylang with not much money and just the two of us, so we decided to head out to Bugis, or more specifically, Arab Street.

We ate at one of the coffeeshops along the path leading to Kampong Glam Cafe. Quite worth it, as a plate of Nasi Goreng Kampung with wings and keropok only cost us $4. Cheap ey? Furthermore the service was rather good what with friendly waiters and the food was delivered on time.

I felt that it was kinda weird, as even though Arab Street is like such a Malay/Muslim place, I still could spot a handful of Mats and Minahs eating/smoking/drinking before the Azan commenced. And there’s like so many Minahs wearing tubes and miniskirts walking around Masjid Sultan.

I think I get why Mum asked me to wear long sleeves everytime I go out during Ramadhan. It’s like kind of respecting the month, and I don’t get much stares by Makcik2 when I enter the masjid to pray. Haha.. This teen who was wearing a 3/4 skirt and tshirt kept getting stared at until I feel so poor thing for her. C’mon lah, at least she’s praying, unlike the throngs outside who “break fast” but never pray :P

(This doesn’t mean that I am better then them in any way, in fact, maybe these people have much more iman then me. It’s afterall, between them and God. hoho!)

By the time we finished with Maghrib prayers, it was around 8pm so we headed out to the much hyped about Bazaar at the open field. That place.. is.. so.. PATHETIC. Omg, all that hoohaa for nothing?!

There were barely any visitors, and NONE of the shops caught our eyes. Circling the entire thing took us, what, 10 minutes? So horrible! Ok I am so going Geylang next week with my besty couzy. Ok besty couzy? No Bugis Bazaar for us!

Peah and I kinda lost the plot (and our mood), so we started heading home by 815pm. That’s like SO freaking early, but what to doooo~ ahaha..

Oh yeah, Prison Break in 3 minutes. Bye kids! The main actor is SO hot.
