Seventh Day Of Ramadhan.

The Seventh Day of Ramadhan’s breaking of fast was with the whole of Daddy’s side, well, except for Daddy and Mummy as Daddy still can’t walk around pretty much. Haha.. He was so sad that he couldn’t join the iftar that he went moping around for a while at home.
There was a whole spread of food at Grannie’s by the time I reached and it was kinda hilarious as the aunt who wanted to cook the main course (rice), actually brought all the dishes except for the rice! Haha.. So ended up we ate just small dishes like Rojak, Roti John, Chapati etc. However, due to the abundant amount, it was still pretty much filling :)

Afterwhich the whole family cleared the hall and proceeded to jemaah Maghrib, Isyak and Terawih together, led by one of my Uncles. It was so darn cute seeing the lil ones pray! Haha.. I almost giggled myself silly when I accidentally saw one of the young ones still in a sujud position, whilst everyone else had already stood up. How cute.

After the prayers, I sat around with the kids (my Dad’s side is FULL of kids), drawing, coloring and singing praises for their artistic stick figures. Wish I had taken pictures, i tell you. The pictures they drew were so darn cute and innocent!

Zakri (one of the kids), for example, drew something like the above. The mushroom-like figure on the left is a tree, the girl with the antennae is actually a girl with long hair, and the house is actually based on the “Monster House” movie which he just watched recently. Cute kannnnn. Sigh~

After a while the kids got bored and started running around the house like madmen on the loose, making me feel rather dizzy. Drawing and coloring I can take but running around getting punched, balls slamming into your face, 10000 decibles of children screaming - that’s a whole different story yo. Haha.
I retreated back and started talking with the adults as usual, and on the way home, one of the aunts had a talk with me about the tudung and motorbikes and oh my God does she understand me or whaaaaaaaaaaat.
How I wish my mom was more ‘open’ like my aunt. Maybe it’s the age gap thing which makes her more conservative, since my aunt is still relatively young. Bluek.
