I didn’t really get much presents (as in material things) this year as compared to past birthdays but I don’t know why I feel happier than I felt last year or the year before. Perhaps it was because I didn’t expect to be given presents neither did I expect to be wished. Haha.. Maybe the notion that the prospect of birthdays being a nothing-event as years pass could be valid afterall.

So getting such an amount of sincere well-wishes (most of them through sms and phonecalls) really carried me to nirvana, i tell you. Once again, thank you very much. You guys don’t know how happy you’ve made a society’s reject / uncool nerd like me feel. Kekeke *muacks!

Oh, and I got a couple of Cds, that oh-so-sexy watch for my birthday, multiple treats and 70 bucks, if you’re wondering what are the presents I got :)

I was supposed to be celebrating with Kimmy and Nassy on Thursday, but for some reasons Nassy had to attend another important event. So i thought it was left with Kimmy and I but when the taxi came to pick me up at my house, Besty Peah was inside too! Haha. I was mighty surprised and kept repeating “Eh! Kau pat sini!” like a gazillion times.

By the way, the cab we were in had cockroaches lah! Ok fine, we saw only 1 but i bet there’s tons more crawling somewhere. Damn disgusting seh. Kimmy and I were practically sitting on the age of our seats when that darned thing crawled all over the backseat. Luckily Peah and I had a truce that she’d protect me from cockroaches and I’d protect her from cats :D

I mean seriously man, for the amount we were paying (it was PEAK hours) I’d expect a good clean cab with a courteous taxi driver. Bloody taxi driver didn’t even know how to drive properly (kept braking and ignored our questions). Bleargh. Bad.. bad.. Must go complain.

Where we were supposed to go was supposed to be a surprise, but clever me already figured out way beforehand. Haha! I mean cmon, asking me to wear super formal and nice and having the event on a Thursday? Confirm Singapore Idol lah! Hahha..

We got pretty bad seats at the balcony as we entered quite late. (Oh btw, thanks AhBoi’s friend Adli for the tickets!) Nevertheless, we had a tremendous time laughing and waving like mad retards trying to gain attention from the Idols.

In fact, we were so zany that Jasmine waved back and Hady (YAY) smiled back at us! Wahaha. Hady wanted to wave but he was unsure who were waving to. Actually the funny thing was we were trying to wave to Hady but Jasmine yang perasan. Tsk. Haha..

Or maybe Jasmine didn’t perasan, but its US who perasan that she’s waving at us. wakaka. Who cares? I vote the former!

Afterwhich, the buggers brought me to Marina to have a meal. Initially they planned to get to Lau Pa Sat but as it was rather late and it was a schooling night, we decided to just eat at Burger King.

Kimmy was apologising for the Cocked-Up Surprise as he calls it, but hey, thanks bestmanfriend. I know you did your best and some things are just beyond our predictions. I had much fun nevertheless, you know!

The most hilarious part of the day were the cab rides, i have to say. On the way to Marina I was practically doubling over in pain trying to control my poop and we made rap songs using “Simpul Simpul Baju Tersimpul Taik Aku“, read random road signs in Malay-fied language, trying to make me laugh so I’ll poop in my pants, talking in bitchified accents, tickling each other and even responded to the AhPek driver when he was actually talking on the phone! Hahahha..

Once again, thanks guys for the great night. It was so super funny and I’m sorry i spoilt like an hour or so by being so quiet as i had to shit :P And sorry I had to go to Esplanade to do my business. I need a clean toilet with toilet paper, water, soap and not so many people lah! Very choosy, like that. Actually i wanted to go home and shit but seeing that they’ve already planned stuff and i really, really cannot tahan anymore.. You get the idea.

My Friday celebration with Pig and Rhino was postponed and has been reallocated to be after the Pig’s prelims. She apparently realised that her prelims are just a mere 2 weeks away and added to that, she had inflammed cheeks. Poor baby! You better study hard and get well cuz i bloody wanna meet you sooonnn!

So i spent Friday night behind my books as my aunty (who was supposed to treat me) couldn’t make it due to work commitments or something like that. Bleargh! Guess God just wants me to get some studying done as i’d be out the whole day on Saturday. Oh wells~ I did manage to kick off my Economics Revision, which is a good thing :)

Saturday morning was spent in the company of MCS (Malay Cultural Society) members for our farewell party, though i have to admit, the turnout of the JC2s was very very disappointing. Out of the numerous invites they gave, only 9 turned up. I’m sorry aight JC1s. Hope the presence of the kecoh JC2s *cough cough* are enough to make up for it :P

I could see that the JC1s put in lots of effort. There was a silat performance, games (which made me look like a fool, i tell you), free food, video presentations etc. There were even SIX balloons decorating the wall! SIX! hahahah.. ok fine, at least they put up balloons :D

They even made this collage cum card depicting most of the JC2’s photos as well as a metal wire thingy which spelled out our names. So sweet! With this much amount of effort put in, i really reaaallly felt bad that most of the JC2s didnt even make an effort to come. APA AH KORANG! Tak baik seh!

And then of course there’s the ‘official’ handing over of positions (although us JC2s have to admit we’ve already left that role weeks back HAHA!). The babe taking over Dana is Aishah. I have to apologise here that at first i thought she was not so capable as she looked so demure (haha), but after seeing her carrying out her duties and after that speech she gave, I’m sure under her MCS will be striving the upcoming two years! Marha Marha!

The new Ex-cos were also a mix of different cliques, so i hope stupid politics won’t get into any MCS things again :) And since i’ve already stepped down, i wanna clarify that it is NOT OUR FAULT that our Exco came from only one clique since at the beginning of last year, only US turned up for all the meetings…

And then after that, we headed to the canteen where we celebrated my birthday…I wish! hahhahaha. Ok we didn’t. The cake was meant for all the JC2s and although I hate to say it, yes Yanti, your cake is very very the delicious. Yum Yum! Thanks alot ey for baking it for us :D

All in all, it was a good farewell party. I had fun, thanks JC1s! Hmm coming to think about it, we didn’t even do any farewell parties for OUR seniors. ahahha. Tsk. tsk.

So I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening in bed, reading library books and some notes so as to rejuvenate myself for the last celebration later that day with Peah and Nurul and later at night, with Anz. It felt good, just to be in bed reading and listening to chillout songs.

So by 530pm, I was already at Nurul’s house as the two planned to give me a makeover before we head over to watch the Fireworks Display at Marina, where I will later meet up with my bestycouzy for a supper treat. I was kinda nervous + excited over the prospect of getting properly made up and whatnot, kind of like a child wearing makeup for the first time. Can’t help it what! I never wear make up before hoho!

They spent the first hour or so trying to straighten my curly wurly frizzy wavy hair. It looked SO NICE i tell you, but i think my hair was too powerful for even Loreal and Maybeline as after an hour, the curls appeared back. CHET! Wasted.

After the not-so-succesful straightening incident, they just slapped on so much hairspray on my hair to keep it salvagable and then proceeded to put make up on me. It was so fuhnehh! It feels weird to have things on your faces, i tell you.

Feeling all happy and excited, we chilled around for a while as we still had time to waste as the fireworks would only start at 9pm. Watched Singapore Idol whilst criticising the sheer stupidity of the watchers in voting all the retards in, ate super nice food cooked by Nurul’s mom etc. So syiok man!

There was even a point of time, whereby after eating and all the laughing, that we almost didn’t want to go Marina as Nurul’s queen-sized bed was just to tempting. Haha! Waliew. Damn comfy man. I feel like getting a change in mattreses as mine is just too darn solid. I need BOUNCE!

So we boarded the eastbound train, merrily taking photos throughout the journey. heh! It took me a while to get used to the make up (even though Peah says she only applied the bare minimal) but i thought i looked rather girly with it :) Yay!

But but but… Things took a turn for the better when suddenly upon reaching Marina i realised…
