Fathers’ Day (Dad’s Side).

Phew~ I just got back home from an unplanned stayover at Grannie’s. heh. Yuuup I reached home today in the clothes i wore out yesterday. *sniggers* So besides that, yesterday was great!

The female children were in one room combing dolls’ hair, the male children were in the other room thumping keyboards and controllers, the female adults sat around the dining table chit chatting whilst the male adults sat stoned in front of the tv watching reruns of the game between Germany and Costa Rica. Why does everyone’s actions seem so… cliche? Haha.

I, as usual being the ever fluid one, moved between the dining table, living room and the two other rooms. Being a young adult at 18, i just find it hard to do baby talk for 6hrs straight la. Face it, how long can one join in the act of pretense and comb barbie dolls’ hair? haha. Somemore, i dont like dolllsss. They creep me out, i tell you.

I enjoy chilling out at the dinner table though. Apart from the food, there were ample nostalgic stories that can make you laugh non stop. I mean just look at my aunt who is laughing so happily in the pic man! Haha. Heard stories on how they got caught stealing rambutans la, sneaking into chinese opera shows and then throwing peanuts at the ahpek manning it la. Haha. So interesting!

The main motive of the gathering was to celebrate Fathers’ Day, with all the fathers present. The oreo cake dammmnn syiok man! I forgot which shop it was from though. Kinda forgot to ask the uncle yesterday and wanted to ask today, but remembered they’re now prolly halfway in their journey to Hong Kong’s Disneyland. Sigh~ Some people have allll the money. haha..

After a round of taking (many many) photos, the SuperCool Aunt (the one who brings the 4 cousins out to Johore etc) suddenly decided that she wanted to watch The Omen with us.So ape lagi? Rezeki jangan dibuang! hahahha..

So after saying our farewells at around 9pm, the Daddy sent us to Lot 1 where we watched The Omen. Overall it was a relatively unscary show, but rather of a “opocot makkao tergolek” kinda show. Doesn’t really make you feeling all scared like some ghost is following you after the movie.

The movie ended at around 1130pm, so we hopped aboard the last bus home, stopped by a 7-11 to stock up on midnight snacks (Did you know 7-11 sells a deck of cards at $3.60? SIAO!) and reached Grannie’s place at around midnight.

With the help of Granma and SuperCool Aunt, we bathed, changed, dragged 3 mattreses out into the living room and cooked Maggi Mee! Haha. It was fun. We stayed up till around 2:30am watching reruns of soccer and Simple Life 2.

Paris and Nicole are such bitches in the show, i tell you. Such bitches!!! Aaaaanyway,

After slacking around watching the Aviva Badminton Finals the whole of today’s afternoon as it was raining, we finally managed to get out in the evening to watch Poseidon at Omnimax theatre (SuperCool Aunt’s treat again :P )

The movie was suppperrr nice man, much better then The Omen. haha. But sadly the experience was slight ruined by this loud mother and 2 children sitting beside me. She was practically narrating the whole story lah! %$@*^#!!!

Like for example, where there was a CPR scene, she explained LOUDLY to her child all the steps, then when people were drowning she pointed it out and explained it LOUDLY etc etc. Ok la, good for the child, but i paid $15 freaking bucks to watch the movie, not to hear her bleeping whiny voice! URGH!

After the movie the aunt treated us again at McDonalds! Hohoho! I think she can adopt us already la, the amount of money she spent on us. Including yesterday’s expenses, the cousins and I calculated she spent around $150. Which is ok, but not as bad as the impromptu Johore overnight stay which caused her >$500. Hohoho..

According to her, she doesn’t mind as long as we remember what she has done once we’re older and working. She’s not married you see, so i guess when she’s old and unable to work, it’s time for the 4 of us to take care of her like that. But i still pray that she’ll find her soulmate uh :)

Before i go off, guess who my brother is immitating? Hehe. Clue: It’s Magnum, BlueSteel and Ferrari all rolled into one, and it’s banned in Malaysia and Singapore :)

Don’t know? Click here. How? Can make it or not? hahaha! K Goodnight!

PS. Classic quotation from Aziz @ Pseudodark regarding my whinings about my new horrendous haircut:

You must be so hairbroken.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHHAH. Imma die laughing at this rate in the middle of the night i tell you.
