The Date Game.
Posted: May 21st, 2006 | Author: faddy | Filed under: Dear Diary | 8 Comments »The mum woke me up this morning and to my surprise, i found Daddy and her dressed up so nicely – Mummy in the baju kurung Daddy bought for her, and vice versa (no, Daddy is not wearing a baju kurung which Mummy bought for him, he was in a shirt which Mummy bought for his birthday 2 days ago).
Anyway, so I’m like
“Ah… Where are you guys going?”
And she’s like
“Oh we’re going on a date, Faddy.”
And i’m like
“For real? Serious? Where?”
And she’s like laughing with Daddy saying
“Eh got lah! Why must tell you? K bye Faddy! Breakfast is in the kitchen.”
And in my amusement, i said
“Ok! Eh don’t be out till so late! Be back before maghrib! If not next time don’t go out dating anymore!”
To which she laughed like crazy. Eat your own medicine, Mummy! Haha.. Anyway, it’s the first time in years to which i recall Daddy and her going out on a date. Rather cute really. They need it after all these years having to spend all their time with 3 extra baggage (That’s the two brothers and I).
When I’m 50, i still wanna go on dates with my husband ohkay!

Haha, you’re right Julz. It’s SO much less done up. But yeah, i kinda like it this way. Some place to call my own, you know :) the studying part…. hehe.
