I shall unleash its power tomorrow, i think. Right after i get back from Sentosa with some of the JJC mates. Ho ho ho. But for now, me leaves you with these photos i captured whilst tinkering out the new device (not photoshoped in any way, by the way).
Cute jugak eh my adik become a rabbit? hahaha.. K night! I’m trying to figure out a way to sync my iTunes with the 1gb MMC i just bought :D
PS. Anyone has any idea how to do the above, please comment hor! I’ve tried SyncMyPortable, but it has a 50 songs limit and a time-limit, which means that i’ll have to upload songs 50 at a time (quite leceh) and after 15 days, i no longer have a programme. Any recommendations?
I’m knackered out by the past two really late nights as well as the super packed days so this will just be a short photolog. Pardon the bad (and boring) pictures, as i forgot to bring my camera everywhere and the battery was flat after Day 1 had passed :(
The chalet was at Changi and it’s those one building kind, hidden behind dense trees and whatnot. Kinda scary, if you asked me. But a short 5 mins walk later will reveal a wonderful view of the ocean :)
A chalet is not a chalet without the bbq right? Haha. I did not really taste the bbq-ed food on Day 1 but i can vouch that the bbq-ed chicken wings on Day 2 were fantastic *cough *cough Heheeee.
Of course after eating and after all the guests have left, there would be a need to clean up. People like me will clean up la, but people like
Anz only know how to fool around. Haha.. Jokin. Between the two of us we swept clean the entire front lawn (even fallen leaves aint spared) and cleaned up the entire bbq area. Cedebah! Can work as cleaner already.
Oh and both nights were spent playing lame card games till late. Teehehee. So long sia never do this kinda thing. We actually wanted to visit Old Changi Hospital on Night 1, but it was already 2am when we finished playing card games and the guys still wanted to check out bapoks at Changi Village, so we had to forego the plan. Nyeahh.
We managed to get out for a while on the 2nd day and meet Wiwin (Anz’s bf) to watch the movie Da Vinci Code (my second time) as well as to shop2 at Orchard. Hohoho. Anz just got her pay so everything free lorrr. Suka Suka! :P
Hoho pardon the horrible disconnected words and pictures. Faddy nak sleep la :D Good night my dears. I’ll reply the comments tomorrow okaaay. I love you banyak banyak! Muaaacks!
I watched the movie Dead Poets Society a few years back during one of my Literature classes and it left a deep impression on me, sending many thoughts and inspirations wheeling around in my head.
So since that day, i’ve been searching high and low for the vcd as i wanted to own a copy to watch at my own time and target. However, it being a rather old-school title, i found no copies at any vcd shops bawah block as according to them, the vcd production has ceased.
Until two days ago, when i stumbled upon the last remaining Dvd at HMV Citylink Mall :D I was kinda bugged by the price tag at first, but since it was the same day which i sold the iPod (so i had lotsa cash) and it was the only copy i ever saw since my first screening, i said “What the heck“, flipped out moolah and now own the copy! haha..
So anyway, go watch it la hor. If Faddy is willing to fork out that much money for a story, you know its gotta be gooood! (No refunds if you disagree though).
Did you manage to catch Susi and Fifi on Suria Segar this morning? Haha.. I was so excited by the prospect of them being interviewed that i even dragged myself out of bed by 10am i tell you!
However, i have to say it was letdown, as the interview was really really short and the questions were not that thrilling la. It may just be my taste, but i would prefer questions like
“Have you ever been assaulted due to the viewers’ hatred to your on screen characters?”
or
“How does it feel when viewers keep calling you Fifi and Susi instead of your real names which i myself, do not know of?”
Kan exciting sikit? Haha.. But nevermind la, at least get to see another side of them. And oh yeah, for those who missed it, both characters cleared it that Suria did not cut of that many scenes, and Gita is NOT Andi’s son as the forum-er had claimed.
I refuse to believe that, though :P I bet Suria paid them to say that in order to clear itself from being lambasted by the public. Hurhurhur. Politics.
Early in the morning, the mother, Fauzi and i headed off to Bukit View Sec for Fauzi’s parent-teacher meeting. It would have been a very boring event, if not for the fact that we bumped into Faris’s sister, Nurul, and his mother.
Both the mothers present know that Faris and I have broken up of course, and it felt kinda weird, funny and sad at the same time, but it really really made my day when Nurul gave me this huge smile and waved when she saw me :) We salam-ed each other, smiled, and walked away.
I kinda miss chatting online with her and talking nonsense with Nadia, Faris’s youngest sister. All the “Nadia dah makan? Gigi Nadia sakit? Tak pegi doctor?” Haha………..
Hmm.. I really should stop reminiscing before my feelings get hold over me. So aaaanyway,
The three of us (Mum, Fau and I) then headed to a Wedding reception at Bedok. I have no idea whose it was though. Something like my Grannie’s Sister’s Son’s Daughter :/ Haha.. My mum’s side is super duper huge until it really is impossible to keep track of everyone i tell you!
I don’t know why but Fauzi and i found it hilarious that the egg-holder gift the guests got were empty, and that it was from Bimla. Eeyer. All the hype the Bimla commercials did, i have to say the quality of their products was bad man. I will never get married and buy Bimla stuff! Nevaaaaa! *ehem
So after that we took a cab to East Coast, where Daddy’s side are having a small get together. An annual June holiday ritual la, to meet up and go out. Sometimes we go overseas (Malaysia only la horrr) and sometimes we head to near locations, like today, East Coast.
So erm nothing much to say since it’s my dad’s side and all were mostly kids, but i did have a fun time ‘bonding’ with the young ones. They’re afterall my close cousins, so no matter the age gap, must strive to keep close ties :)
One thing i did really alot though, was cycling. I guess it is a good way to bond la, cuz it did allow Fauzi and i to talk for 45 mins or so by ourselves (where i found out something verryyy interesting hohoho), and it too allowed me to bond with my two other small cousins whom i gave rides to.
All the huffing and puffing, cycling for around 90 mins with the last 30 mins carrying 20kg loads (the two young cousins), i was kinda happy that maybe, just maaaybe, i could have shed some calories and perhaps even tone my muscles ahhaa. But hor, all was lost when i ate 4 pieces of sinful chocolate cake slices :(
It was Fauzi’s 15th Birthday! That lil bugger brother of mine finally is old enough to get an IC. haha.. Anyway he was so happy la, got two cakes, got $100 bucks from the grannies, presents from the uncles and aunties, kena sabo somemore! Practically saw him grinning from ear to ear the whole day, i tell ya.
All in all it was a very fulfilling day la, not an hour wasted since i enjoyed every minute of it :) Oh btw, all of Dad’s side are still over at East Coast now, but the Father, Mother and I went home. Father and Mother cuz of work responsibilities, while I, I need to meet my bestie couzy Anz early afternoon tomorrow.
Why? Cuz tomorrow will be a get together for Mum’s side! Haha.. Super on man both Mum’s and Dad’s side. Anyway i’ll prolly be sleeping over at the Chalet tomorrow night, so don’t think i’ll be updating la hor.
Good night! Faddy wants to get to the shower asap then knock into bed cuz she has a looooong day tomorrow :D
Hoho thanks for the smses guys. Faddy has ordered the k750i phone through her uncle over at Singtel and she should be getting it by next week :D Oh btw, i did not trade off the Nokia 7600 i have, due to the sentimental values as well as the uniqueness of the phone.
Erm oh yeah call me slow, but i just discovered this gem of a song two days ago. Heh. Enjoy it :) Btw, the quality’s kinda bad to save up my diskspace. Haha.. So go buy the cd if you want the real deal!
A Million Miles – Too Phat featuring Siti Nurhaliza.
I sing this lullaby, forbidden love sitting before my eyes
My heart is screaming although nobody can hear my cries
Wishing on a star as I look into the night
Say a little prayer only God can understand my plight
Glimpses of his sight, flashing in my mind
Although he near the distance seems like a million miles
Somebody told me once that patience is a virtue
And true love is worth waiting for although it might just hurt you
And if it comes right back, that means it’s truly destined
I promise to hold back the tears, never say never
And I know you thinking of me all through out your endeavours
And if its part of His plans, one day we’ll be together
A few things last forever, so I write this poem
A lot of times, you won’t miss it right until it’s gone
And though I soldier on, these feelings in my heart
Will never change cos I loved you from the start…
So fast ey? Haha.. I managed to sell it off at the exact price i bought it for, so all’s well, i guess. InsyaAllah no problem with that darn machine la. Whatever it is, i’m not gonna spend the money i just got as of yet, just in case :)
Anyways, now that i’m tuneless and have extra cash, i have decided to give my handphone an upgrade. So i’ll need a mean machine which packs enough space for mp3 storage and a good camera (for this blog’s photos duh haha). My decision is torn between these two:
The Sony Ericsson k750i vs w810i. The cheaper one would of course be the k750i ($198 vs $468) and between the two, i have to say they’re almost similar, other then w810i having a weee bit more improvements. If you’re interested, the reviews can be read here and here, for both phones.
Looks wise, i have to add i very much prefer the sleekness of the k750i. The w810i is a bit plasticky for me :) How now? Which one should i buy? I like the w810i functions but the k750i outlook. Furthermore, the w810i is abit pricey (but i can afford la). So which oneeee? I want something more worth the money!
That’s what i call fast service :D Less then 24 hours after i sent my iPod for repair, the lady called me to say it was ready. Feeweet. Kudos to them, since the last repair i did, i had to wait roughly 4 days. Yay.. iPod’s great cuz it has great service!
Oh wait… I shouldn’t even need to send my iPod for services in the first place :P Haha.. Btw, the above pic was taken at the new iPod centre. Super sleek and minimalistic lah. Faddy loikes!
Anwyay, I’m contemplating on selling this brand new replacement iPod i have now and then buy a new hp. Anyone wants it? The iPod Photo 30gb comes with (according to the support website) 365 days of warranty, brand new condition (still in plastic), charger, usb cable, earphones, box and installation cd. Just comment la horrr :D
Heh. I get amazed by the smallest things. See, it ain’t hard to please me :)
After 2 weeks of being tuneless due to the iPod breaking down again (the last time was in the month of February), i finally got my lazy arse to Yio Chu Kang to get the iPod repaired.
Ok some of you have been asking, why don’t i just send the iPod to nearer service centres like the one in Wheelock? The thing is, i’ve confirmed with the person that service is the fastest at Yio Chu Kang’s outlet as the factory is in the same building :)
Oh btw, the man and woman behind the counter recognised my face already. Hur hur. Can make friends lah like that i tell you! We chatted a while, and it became apparent to me that iPods are kinda useless, as the man said that my problematic iPod is a common problem amongst other customers.
Some 7 to 9 bats have made their home in one of the trees by the corridors of the school. Seeing them all huddled up together-gether sleeping like that is soooo cute. Haha i’m just tempted to pick one and cuddle/pinch it. Hehe.
Anyway i keep having this mindset that bats suck blood, even though we know that many of their species actually eat only fruits. Hoho. The power of the mass-media, psychoing everyone that bats are draculas.
I’m sorry i couldn’t keep my promise to keep off blogging :( Sigh. It’s so hard to kick the habit lah! But i’ve found another solution, which hopefully will help. That is, i’ve asked the mother/brothers to stop me from using the computer after an hour! That way, i won’t be spending too much time blogging like i used to.
So it’s like considering blogging time = leisure time. Yay! Now i don’t have to suffer from blogging withdrawal symptoms :D
Some of you have been complaining to me that you very much preferred my previous blog, due to its nicer templates and more interesting entries. Well, the thing is, i know. haha..
The reason why i moved houses, is because i wanted a place of my own. Ok think of this situation -
For years you have been living in someone else’s home, rent-free. So when the price is zero, the quantity demanded will be infinity as we assume that there is no limits to supply for that housing. As time goes by, more and more people move in together with you, causing the house to get overcrowded and the facilities it provide to deteroriate due to constant usage.
Tada! Faddy has come up with an analogy! hahahha.. Blogspot, my home for several years, was getting too overcrowded and the servers kept breaking down etc, which is very frustrating. Therefore, i decided to move out somewhere else which requires a small amount of payment/rent, but on the other hand, it provides better service :)
As for templates, you can see i just changed again. Hoho! I am in the process of figuring out how to edit templates for Wordpress, therefore be patient, give me a couple of weeks, and you’ll get nicer templates.
For the entries bit, uhm.. Ah.. I really, really am trying to cut down blogging time (betol tak bedek lah!), so i’ll update with pictures only when time permits me to do so alright! Most likely on weekends la. If you not happy, then you boycott me on weekdays lorrr. Haha :D
